If you’re in downtown Hudson, Urban Olive and Vine is a must! Delicious and fresh food, creative, flavorful cold/hot beverages of all kinds and awesome desserts in a cozy, warm space. Summer offers patio seating. Shop inside from local artisans as well for special and unique gifts for anyone. My absolute favorite lunch spot in downtown Hudson.

To sum Urban up in one word would be cozy, however to explain it in one word would be doing this business a disservice. -the food here is unique and Chad and Carol are always coming up with new and creative flavors/ideas for their menu. the food is always fresh and really has that homecooked meal feeling to it. -the coffee has never dissapointed me and the portions are large -the desserts are divine and are always a perfect way to finish off the meal(I am a sucker for the limoncello cake) -the inside of the establishment is filled with local art and wares. It gives a strong connection to the community -the outside dining offers a quiet and relaxing area for you and your furry friend to attend. doggy menus are also avaliable so your buddy can join you for a meal! - something that always has impressed me is how the ambiance changes throughout the day, in the morning you feel cafe vibes with the coffee machine constantly frothing milk or the smell of the fresh nordic waffles being made. coming in the early evening gives a romantic and relax vibe with lowered lights and the occasional local band playing. I cannot explain how much I love this restaurant and I would recommend this to everyone who loves food as much as I do❤️

A great restaurant / cafe that unfortunately the owners don't want to be open. Closing at 4pm almost all week, and then being completely closed on Sunday, the prime weekend day for getting together and eating, is quite unbelievable.

Now the hours have been reduced further, closing at 4pm on Friday. I've seen this death spiral of restaurants before. If people arrive (at the most popular days / times to eat) and you are closed, they often never return.

They could cut the seemingly excessive staff levels and remain open during Friday evenings, have a limited special menu to make it easier, etc. There are other ways to be make it work while being open- the most important thing. And being closed Sunday is inexcusable, it would likely be their most profitable day by far were they to be open.

Hopefully someone who is interested in having an open restaurant will purchase it.

Love this cute restaurant and shop in historic downtown Hudson. They have great gift items whether it is flavored olive oil, coffee decor, pastas, and much more! The make specialty coffee drinks and their menu offerings are delicious. They even have live music sometimes! There is street parking but it can be difficult to find a spot depending on when you visit.

Parking: Sometimes it is free, sometimes it is paid.

My husband and I moved to the MN about 3 years ago. While exploring and looking for a nice local coffee house with food, we hopped over to Hudson, WI, and discovered this charming spot. We fell in love. The coffee and tea list is robust, and everything we've had is delicious. The food menu is surprisingly full of scrumptious options, including kids menu items. I love the mushroom and portobello waffle (sans the sauce, but only because I don't like to mix my savory and sweet, haha), and my husband loves their quiches. The chefs take pride in their food, and the staff is always so welcoming. We have come to know some of them and absolutely adore Sandy. Our kids even get bummed if we go, and Sandy's not there. Additionally, they have a nice selection of local merchants who sell jewelry, syrups, salsas, tea kettles, mugs, artwork, and decor. If you're looking for a cozy coffee house/ cafe atmosphere, good for the whole family, this is the place for you.

Vegetarian options: I'm not a vegetarian, but I've seen the items listed.

Dietary restrictions: They are very accommodating to dietary restrictions, making substitutions.

Parking: Street parking

Kid-friendliness: Kids options available on menu and very inviting space for families.

It was extremely busy but staff took our info and texted us when a spot was available. It only took 10-15 minutes. We were waited on promptly and everyone was very happy with the menu choice. The Turkey cranberry sandwich was awesome & a nice change of pace from burgers/fries. One of us tried an adult peanut butter chicken sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it.

What a gem. I ordered the smoked salmon waffle and husband had the sausage quiche. They both were amazing. Locally sourced ingredients, balance of flavors were spot on. Ordered the lavender matcha latte. Pleasant flavor without the bitter aftertaste although, I didn't discern the lavender flavor. Quaint little Cafe which promotes the local community. There are teas, jams, sauces, etc all for purchase. If in Hudson WI, should stop and give this cafe a try, I believe you won't be sorry.
