Willow River Saloon/Carbone's Pizzeria

Last 3 times we were there we had Jenny for a server. The first 2 times we had to go to the bar to get our own second drink because she would never come back to check on us or even look our way. The bartender looked very annoyed that we had to come up to the bar to ask for a drink when we had a server. The third time we waited 30 minutes for our food from when we ordered which is not a problem but when food came out it was cold. When I asked for a box so I could take it home to warm it up she ignored me and took the food to the kitchen to box it up. We went home and threw it away because you always hear what happens to food when you send it back. I believe the food was cooked perfectly from the way it looked. It’s sad because in the past with other servers there has never been a problem. And it’s not that it was busy there were 3 other tables besides our table.

Lots of great food. Breakfast is A really good deal. Pizza is fantastic.

The owner is verbally abusive and vulgar to his staff

Great, historic place. Super nice and efficient staff, but the Sunday breakfast special is average. Granted it is only $2.00 (with a mandatory beverage order), but the hash browns were in no way crisp and the bacon is thin enough to read through. Could be fantastic with just a little more input and attention to detail. Raise the price to $3.00 to cover the cost.

Very busy and had to wait a little while, went for the late breakfast. Server was friendly and was obvious why we had to wait, food was excellent and the prices were more than reasonable.

Stopped on our way through town, would have had 3-4 rounds + pizza and apps.

Instead the non-existent waitstaff, and bartender lazily talking at the end of the bar (with nothing but empty drinks atop the bar) made that 2 drinks because we never saw anyone again, and standing at the bar wasn't enough either

The thought of returning is laughable.
