We have been to The Stand several times and have never been disappointed. The staff is so friendly and the food is always delicious. We recently ordered our first custard cake from them and it was a total hit!

Highly recommend if your in the area. I plan to go again. It was my 1st time there after I was done hunting,I took my daughter there and decided to dine in and just order the husband's to go before we left. The staff was super friendly and the food was great. Again highly recommended

I've worked and lived in this area for close to 15 years and never stopped in here, don't know why. Well I stopped in today and had a delicious fish fry basket and now I wonder what I've been missing. There is a larger variety of food and treats than I thought including pizza and burgers. There is also both indoor and outdoor seating (weather dependant) so it's not just seasonal as I first thought. Don't sleep on this place like I did cause the people were very friendly, the restaurant was clean and the food was tasty and that's a win in my book.

Everything about the pizza was good! Custard dish and hot fudge sundae were also 5 stars. And best of all, the lady taking orders was so nice I just know we’ll drive that way again!. Small town perfect.

40 minutes and no food. When we tried to tell the overworked staff the manager or owner kept the girls from helping us. After repeated attempts to get an answer we were finally told it was OUR fault for paying in advance. Our order was never made so we asked for a refund. When the manager or owner explained to us how to order properly order we said we would not be back. We were then rudely told that "You will regret it ". Overall a terrible experience. I do not recommend

Can we say YUM! Riding in Iron River and searched on restaurants, this one popped up as #2. We decided to give it a try. We get up there and were kinda disappointed about the offerings but gave it a shot. OMG YUMMMM! THIS SHOULD BE #1. The Beer Cheese holy Poop! the best I've had. The fries were so yummy, great breading on the onion rings. the beer cheese burger super good. perfectly cooked. The owner... she is wonderful. (thank you for all you do) and such a hard worker. Give this place your business!

The oreo custard cake I got for my birthday was TO.DIE.FOR!
We stopped in on Father's day and picked up a Quart of vanilla custard. To go with the homemade apple pie, it was delicious.

This place has amazingly great food. The only drawback is that you buy everything à la carte. It can get pricey depending on how much you order, but it's definitely worth a visit. Everything was delicious, the waitresses were very sweet and great workers, and the people were all very friendly. They also serve ice cream products. The building itself is kind of small, but they may have outdoor seating. You can also do takeout. Definitely give them a try. You won't regret it!
Parking: There is a hotel behind The Stand that has a sign up for hotel parking only. I'm not sure how much of the parking lot is for the restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: Very friendly people, children of all ages, no alcohol served here.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp for wheelchairs.
