Been eating here for years and it has always been great food for a great price! When you call in a order they can be a little hard to understand, but I am sure that goes both ways. I always clarify the order and it has never been wrong. This place is truly a local jem! Everything I have ordered here has been great! Not fatty or greasey, never disappointed. A must try if you like Asian food. They will be closed from March 11 thru April 5th

Got the sesame chicken combo plate - delicious and tons of food for only $7! With a side of shrimp fried rice = leftovers for sure. Food was hot and fresh too and made very quickly! Will definitely be back here. Highly recommend them if you’re in the area and craving some Chinese food!

The WORST sesame chicken I have EVER had. The chicken was slimy and had the coloring of Swedish meatballs, far from what sesame chicken should look like. And to make the whole situation worse, there was a black curly hair found in the box (no one present has black nor curly hair). The crab rangoon was undercooked and extremely disappointing. DO NOT waste your time or money ordering from here.

Hong Kong Express has been around seemingly forever, but I've only been there twice before given that Chinatown Kitchen across town is my strong preference of the two. Since I was in town and recently placed an order at Chinatown to officially review their egg rolls, I thought I would do the same for Hong Kong. My order simply consisted of two egg rolls which contain both pork and shrimp. In my Chinatown review I mentioned they have better quality pork in their egg rolls than the mush you get in grocery store egg rolls. Unfortunately for Hong Kong, their pork is too similar to the grocery store mush that cheap restaurants use. Their shrimp was also chopped into tiny pieces, which made it even harder to find, let alone taste, than the couple of pieces in Chinatown's shrimp egg roll. I was prepared to give Hong Kong a 2/5 since the egg rolls really didn't appeal to me, but on the last bite of the second egg roll I bit into something hard. I posted a picture of it for you to see. To me, it looks like it might be bone from the pork, but I don't know for certain. Regardless, it was a complete turn off and makes me not want to ever go back to Hong Kong Express.

i was very nervous trying this place but the food was delicious. The shrimp fried rice was perfect, not soggy not salty just perfect, hunan beef was on point too. Everything we got was good. whoever the the chef tonight 10/05 should be maintained at all cost

So I love the place but everytime I go they mess up my boyfriends part of the order, so it's a very one sided love for us. I don't get how though, he gets beef lo mein I get chicken lo mein and somehow his entire entree has LITERALLY no noodles, but mine is perfect? I keep wondering if we ordered wrong but I double checked this time :/

We thoroughly enjoyed our first meal from Hong Kong Express. Our experience was nothing like those described in the negatives reviews. The Shrimp Egg Rolls were probably the best I've ever had. The Hunan Shrimp was tasty with perfectly prepared vegetables. Highly recommend and we'll be returning for more great Chinese food in the near future!

Very good!!!!! We now like this place better then that other place in town that reduced the sizes of (everything)!! Hot’ n sour soup was spicy!!!! ? yum!!! Really opened up the sinuses!!! vegetables were SUPER fresh!!! Wife liked the chicken. The fried dumplings could use a lot less dough!!! But overall awesome!!! Tons of leftovers!!!! We will definitely order here again!!! Super friendly too!!!!
