Flippy's Bar and Grill

Had a great meal on Friday evening. They have a really good salad bar and the best chicken dumpling soup I have had in years! Dumplings like my mom used to make. They had a buffet which a lot of people were having but my husband and I had the seafoid trio, some if the best skewered shrimp I have ever had! Some new staff seemed to be starting that very evening but such a warm, family feel to this place! Definitely plan to go again. They also had an amazing selection for breakfast with good pricing. Only drawback are the bathrooms, limited privacy with the odd "folding" type doors for the two stalls, but that was only downside I found there. Highly recommend their food and friendly staff!

absolute worst experience we've ever had. over an hour to get our food and both of our meals were screwed up worst part is there was only two other people eating. the waitress was great but the cook was absolutely worthless update: to their credit shortly after posting this review they reached out to me to make up for our bad experience. I was quite impressed with not only the conversation but the very quick reply.

The food is excellent. Good size portions for the price. Staff will bend over backwards to make sure you get what you want. Check them out.

Stopped in for a quick lunch with my son. He had the all-you-can-eat boneless wings in mango habenero sauce and I had the Mindy burger and onion rings. Everything was delicious, our waitress was fantastic, and the prices were good, too! So glad we stopped!

Food took 25min to receive. There were only 3 tables with customers. Neighboring table had been waiting longer and chose to ask for their bill and leave before their food came. They were given two different stories by two different employees. One stated they were busy in the kitchen, the other employee later said that the order was accidentally given to someone else. I was charged more for a salad (not on the menu) than my significant other was for his chicken bacon wrap with fries.Being on Weight Watchers I originally asked for the grilled chicken bacon ranch wrap with no wrap, no bacon, no cheese and ranch on the side so I could make a salad out of the lettuce, tomatoes and grilled chicken as salads are not on the menu, no big deal, I do this often when we go out to eat. Waitress said they could simply just make a salad for me. That sounded like a great offer and I asked if she could please add avacado. When I asked her what else would be on it she said black olives and cucumbers. I said no black olives. The salad came loaded with croutons, no cucumbers, thinly sliced avacado with several bad spots, small amount of small diced grilled chicken, much less than the wrap had and was more of a side salad size than a meal. To clarify, the salad did have tomatos and dressing on the side. Food overall was very good.

Excellent tasting fish fry. Restaurant was crowded, one waitress taking care of many tables - she was great. Will definitely return again when we are in the area.
