Good food, kind of pricey. But pretty good, nice view of the lake.

The food was nothing less than spectacular. It was probably the best I have ever had at a super club. Everything we had was fresh not sitting in the freezer for weeks.

I came here with friends on a Thursday evening. We arrived at 4:00 just ad they were opening. We sat at the bar for a bit while waiting for everybody to arrive. The bar is well stocked. The bar tender was friendly and accommodating. When the rest of our party arrived we were seated in the main dining room. This place has all the ambiance of a 70s supper club, something I think is nostalgically quaint. Wednesdays and Thursdays, they offer a German quinine. After reviewing the menu, I decided to order a German dish that is regularly featured on the daily menu. I decided on the Gib's schnitzel. This is a breaded pork loin fried then topped with pumpernickel, sauerkraut, pork sausage, and swiss cheese dressing and mushroom gravy. I also ordered the French onion soup. The soup came out right away. It was nicely flavored. There was cheese melted onto the soup. It was too much as it was one big glob that left big strings from the spoon to the bowl. It was good, but it was messy to eat. The schnitzel came out shortly after the soup. The pork loin was juicy and tender with nice breading on it. The toppings were all mixed together into a brown goo. I could not differentiate between the saurkraut end the mushroom gravy. The flavors all worked well together, but the appearance was less than appealing. The meal was ok, and the price was about right. If I order this again, I will ask for the saurkraut and gravy on the side.

One of the few old-style supper clubs left that serves excellent food! Went here for a birthday dinner and it was great. I get a birthday card in the mail every year and love going here regardless! Been to some of the top steakhouses in Vegas and this was on par with them and was delicious!! This place is the best around and I highly recommend it!

The service is excellent here. We ordered the mussels as an appetizer, and they were baked! It does not say on the menu that they would be baked. They were dry and not very edible. The prime rib and the broccoli sprouts were excellent though.

The German section of the menu has lots of delicious options...and the rest of the menu looks great too! Beautiful view of the lake. We enjoyed it so much, we ate there 2 nights in a row. A terrific supper club experience!

Always a staple every time we frequent the area, which is frequent. Gives an old Chicago fireman and wife a comfort you can't get here. Always appreciative of your hospitality. Aces all the way around.

The combo appetizer was OK, over fried - almost burnt. Fish fry same. Not a traditional supper club. Atmosphere was nice. It is a small place, reservation is a good idea.

A large group of us go up to the area golfing every year. Six to eight of us always head over to Gib's for dinner. The place is classic supper club; old school and neat as a pin. We always start off with a Brandy Old Fashioned (sweet). Bartender was efficiently pleasant and the drinks were spot-on. We got a spot off the bar in an room that's a wall of windows looking out on the lake. Our server, Ashley, was a delightful young lady that took time to answer our questions and offered suggestions. French onion soup was great and each entrée was well prepared. Service was good and we never had to wait between courses of for a fresh beverage. If you're in the area, stop by for a great meal in a neat setting.

Went for their German food night! Food was excellent! We had a waterfront view for dinner. There was a long wait at the bar, but we expected that! Beer was good!
