My SO and I ate at Anchor Down for Father's Day. The restaurant was rightfully crazy busy on such a day, but we got a table immediately and recieved great service. Our meals came quick and were phenomenal. I do think the restaurant could you a face lift, but don't let that keep you away: the food and the people were phenomenal. Must try!

We stopped at this atmospheric restaurant for lunch while traveling through town after a trip to Door County. Nice rustic ship decor, wonderful service, and delicious food! The ship theme is creatively woven into every aspect of this restaurant, from the wall hangings to the menu food titles such as Captain's Special, First Mate's Meal, Deckhand's Choice, and The Land Ho! It was obvious that locals eat here regularly. We will stop again when traveling through!
Limited hours, expensive and they don't know how to make a hamburger ?. I will not be returning.
