Very good selection of fish and seafood. Fresh white fish and lake trout caught fresh each day from Lake Michigan. A fine selection of smoked fish also available. Very friendly manager with interesting information. Conversation took place in the company of family fisherman putting the daily catch on ice. Store has been in business for 4 generations.

The smoked whitefish spread was not good! It was sweet, then found out it was made with miracle whip?
Nice fish market. Good selection. I also had them package about 40 lbs of fresh caught salmon for me and freeze it even though they told me they don't do this anymore due to some previous experiences. I don't blame them for not wanting to do this as well (understandable). I explained my dilemma to the lady at the counter and she went ahead and packaged all my fish and froze the fillets for me. I also bought some of there smoked salmon for a snack on my drive home and it was GREAT. Also I needed some ice and the gentlemen at the counter helped me out as well. You GUYS ROCK !!!I would highly recommend and I will remember there great small town customer SERVICE this is missing in our 2022 world.Thanks again all of you at Lafonds
