One of the best bakeries you will ever go to. Not only is the food great, but the owners are amazing and so down to earth. You would be hard pressed to find a better bakery.

On the snowy days that Wisconsin brings us my company is out doing snow removal to local business near Roeck's at the early morning hours and let me tell you... if you haven't smelt the great savory smell of fresh donuts in the air at the we bit hours of the morning i suggest you somehow do this.. we wait for them to open just to be able to experience that smell. We ALWAYS are so happy with there product and service. Jared is such an amazing guy who supports so many local business in the community. If you have every talked negative about him or his business i think it might just be you who needs a wakeup call :)

Lived in Ada for 20 years and been to Roecks a few times. I personally like Hartmanns Bakery. Not only are their cookies and bakery awesome but the service is outstanding. Anything I have asked them to make was spectacular and always pleasant to deal with.

My kids aren’t fans of their cookies — and let’s be honest, what kid doesn’t like cookies? The donut frosting isn’t for me either, and the selection overall feels pretty limited. I get that they’re popular — they’ve been around a long time, and that’s great for those who enjoy them. Personally, I think Sunrise Bakery and Hartman’s are great options, and Sunday Dough is truly phenomenal.
Side note: Whoever was driving their small white vehicle on July 2nd, 2025, at 12 p.m., shame on you for speeding down a residential side street — right after summer school let out, with kids walking and biking nearby. It’s right down the road from all the schools. I called to speak to the owner or a manager, but the younger girl who answered was no help and showed no concern — which only added to the frustration.
Overall, the product isn’t worth it, customer service lacks, and the disregard for safety sealed the deal. I won’t be returning.

A great little bakery that reminds me of when I was a boy growing up. Excellent sourdough bread and a nice selection of baked goods. I really enjoy the sour cream doughnuts Wednesdays and Saturdays. Reminds me of my grandmother's.

This is an amazing small town bakery. If you’re a fan of authentic freshly baked goods, this is the place to stop by. They can even customize something for you. Great people, easy to work with.

The white bread is still a treat for me 50+ years after I first recall having it.(I do recall it being wrapped in a white paper bag in those days) Fresh, fluffy, soft, and flavorful, with a nice chewiness to the crust. Furthermore, I’m reasonably certain that the loaf is still the same huge size that remember from childhood. Kiel is fortunate to have such a gem in their town. The staff is engaged and friendly the store front is clean and bright and the products fresh and presented nicely.

I love the quality of the items they sell, but the customer service is severely lacking. I love the old world style that makes you feel like you're stepping back in time too. The real problem seems to be the people who work the counter. I stopped to pick up some hard rolls after work today and I felt like my business was more of an inconvenience. I highly recommend their products, but don't go in expecting "service with a smile".
