We stopped here as it popped up on google search when we were traveling through and after reading all the reviews about how great this place is we were so excited to try it! It apparently is for members only…we walked into the cute little restaurant and we immediately felt like outsiders….we weren’t aware the restaurant was for members only and the ladies at the host desk didn’t seem too thrilled we were there. We were greeted with ‘didn’t you see all the members only signs’… It should state clearly online that this place is for members only because nobody would know that unless you arrive at the place and see all the members only signs….its too bad because my parents probably would have bought the membership but the ladies weren’t super friendly 🙁 it is a beautiful place though

Awesome! The soups are to die for. Rest of the food is excellent as well. Nice quaint little restaurant that is nestled back in the woods. Atmosphere is neat. Would highly recommend.

Incredible location but make sure you follow directions carefully. The lodge is literally tucked away in the woods. Very picturesque location. The food was very good and portions are sizeable.

Wonderful, unique place to dine. Is for members only. Food was incredible, enjoyed the crisp duck, duck barley soup, mixed green salad. Menu changes. The lodge is rustic and charming, the staff very attentive, view of woods, birds, other wildlife from our table by window an added treat.

We stayed at Blue Harbor resort and went on TripAdvisor to find a restaurant. Kohler is close, so we saw River Wildlife Lodge Restaurant. When we arrived and saw this absolutely beautiful log cabin I was so excited. This is about the most darling restaurant I have ever seen. We entered the cabin and there was a bar. The hostess informed me that it was a private restaurant and we could not be served. You can imagine how disappointed we were. This restaurant is a little diffiicult to find as it is in a remote area and the streets are not even named. I asked if I could look around and honestly this is the most cozy and beautiful cabin. Guess I have to be a member of the Kohler Club.
