Homecoming experience for our son and his date. 2 hours for two people to eat a simple dinner request. The waitress ignored them and the food took forever. This is not the first time I've experienced horrible service from the waitstaff here. I'm shocked the lack of customer service at such a nice place. Do better! The last couple years this place has changed way too much.

Stopped in for drinks and was not disappointed. Wine list is good, not extensive but what they have is high/middle tier. Service excellent. And I love the rathskeller vibe. It’s right up my ally. Decorated in what I would call “light fox hunt.” The pictures don’t do it justice - it is darker and warmer than the pictures portray.

Menu has changed since the last visit with less options and higher prices. The service was pretty slow. Our food took around 55 min to come out. The food was cold and didn’t seem very fresh. Not a very great value for the money. Up charges on any item being swapped out such as grilled chicken vs fried chicken. The atmosphere was good though! Overall, Horse and Plow used to be a place I recommend to all our tourists that come to Sheboygan, but based on the latest experience I can’t recommend anymore.

Terrible food and wait times given the price. Every time I’ve been there, we’ve waited 30-45 minutes after ordering for our food despite the restaurant being practically empty. They recently simplified their menu and raised prices. With this change, the food went from okay to appalling. My brioche bun was super dry and the rest of the burger was flavorless. Nobody else in my group was happy with their food. Before, I was able to look past the food and enjoy the fun, historical ambiance of the place but I’m really tired of Kohler selling mediocre food (and products) under the pretense of it being luxurious. People will catch on if the company continues to cut corners on quality.

Went on recommendation from my son. Had cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. Son had walleye sandwich, wife had chicken. Chicken was good, fish sandwich was less than seller and hamburger was supposed to be medium, came back extremely pink, almost rare. Sweet potato fires were not cooked all the way as well. Very disappointed.
Comfortable, great staff, food options that span healthy to cheesy and more. Good beers including a cellar list. All around a place to visit again!

I ordered the Mavericj Burger and The American Club sandwich. They both used to be better when the burger used to be Plow burger. It is now tasteless. The American club sandwich for some reason has guacamole sauce. It taste gross.
Parker johns has much better sandwiches. I highly DO NOT recommend horse and plow. This entire place is always empty. Service sucks, the Server "logan" sounded like a she-he, just a gross atmosphere.

We had the most inattentive wait staff we have ever experienced in any restaurant ever, especially one of this caliber. We had to ask for everything, nothing was offered, from the menu to the bill. And everything in between. The wait times were extraordinary even though they were not busy during this weekday lunch time. I emailed their customer service and I also messaged them on Facebook but no response from either, just crickets. I guess they must be happy with the business they have, but they certainly didn't seem to care. We were a party of six.
