Great food and service in a bar atmosphere. We will definitely be going back for more of their great prime rib!...and the burgers are awesome as well.

So my family got there and we just sat ourselves down because we went through the garage doors and tons of people already in there we found a table and two other tables sat down too at the same time. We waited 20 minutes for a server to finally notice us and the other people too. We already knew what we wanted so we told her and she took our order plus she got us our drinks that took 10 minutes to get to us! My mom went to salad bar and she told me there was like nothing in there and it was gross to look at. We waited 1 hour and 30 minutes for our food to finally come and she didn’t even check up on us while we were waiting for our food to come and once it finally came my siblings got there food and my mom and I got fish and we wanted battered fried and she came out with broiled fish and so she took it back and she even wrote down battered fried and that took another 15 minutes for my mom and I to wait for our food and when it came out it our fish was burnt and she still didn’t check up on us if our food was good or not. Very poor service. Understaffed. Burnt food.

The bartenders here do a great job of keeping up with large crowds of people and are friendly. Many of the food choices here are good.
This place can draw big crowds. I happened by on a fall Sunday night. I was the only stranger in the bar. The other ten or so folks knew each other. Kind of like Cheers but with out Norm. Stranger or not I was treated to friendly service and even got a fishing tip from the bartender.

Motorcycle ride for the almost world famous chicken. They have canoe rentals, and there must be horse trails around because horse riders were everywhere. You don’t need a bike but if you want to go for the chicken, you should call ahead.The chicken plate has a large piece of chicken, baked beans and a pasta salad. There is a slice of white bread as well. The chicken is the main feature. If you want a drink, you need to go up to the bar and it is usually 2 to 3 deep.

The BBQ chicken dinner, after kayaking down the Kickapoo, was to die for. The macaroni and cheese salad was delicious.I just love going to the Rockton Bar!

The aesthetics were OK, but the food was just really sloppy. The burgers came on a very, very, very tiny paper plate. They didn’t come with fries, you had to buy them separately. The burger itself was just a Costco frozen patty and then I ordered the beer cheese topping, which was literally ice cold. Every condiment on your burger cost extra. The pretzel bun with something that you get at Walmart and it wasn’t toasted. Fries and onion rings were overly fried and hard. Just go to Wendy’s. At least you’ll get real hamburger meat and hot food.. Js
