I was trying to figure out what I had last time and got treated like I was stupid. I got my sandwich and it looked like there was mold. I got attitude from the girl working on September 4th. She put her hands to her head while walking to the back while mumbling about me. If she’s working I will walk right out if I ever come back here.

Waited a long time for soup to go. The restaurant was not that busy. 4 people working but very disorganized.

So friendly and welcoming by patrons and the barista. Enjoyed looking at the artwork and gifts for sale while waiting for our treats. Wonderful bakery treats, including scones and huge cookies, and delicious caramel lattes. Would have loved to have tried some of the other menu, offerings, too. We enjoyed them on the shaded little porch (since we had our little pup with)that had a sweet little library for both Littles and adults. There was also a back patio to enjoy.
A great find!

Enjoyed the fresh strawberry salad today for lunch. Service was quick, and the food was fresh and delicious. We sat on the outside patio, which was perfect. Following lunch, I enjoyed a lemon lavender cookie, which was amazing!

I love the food and the coffees. The only complaint I have is the girls in back seemed to have a joke going. There I stood for almost 5 minutes watching to be acknowledged.
Very friendly people ! A bit pricey but not bad for a coffee shop these days it is 2025 and I'm an 80's baby, baby lol 😂
Baked goods are out of this world. Come and try it.
Cute local spot in Ladysmith. Soup and sandwiches were great.
I haven't been here for awhile. I think it was overpriced, but it was clean, food was decent & there was parking. staff was friendly & polite. as far as menu options there wasn't much to choose from. scones & muffins weren't labeled as to what kind they were. for ppl with food allergies that would've been helpful. Overall it wasn't bad, but... it wasn't good enough for me to want to go back again anytime soon

A cozy place for friends and family to gather! Love being able to reserve the board room for private gatherings!
Toad house has renovated and reopened. It is definitely worth a stop. It is so much more than just a coffee shop, with art locally made artisan products, and a cozy hometown atmosphere. The bakery items are unique and taste fantastic. I especially enjoyed the Cream puffs and the pistachio cold brew.
Adorable enchanting place! In the back you can sit in nature or enjoy all of the arts and crafts.
