Came from out of state. Brochures for lake Geneva say to rent an e-bike. Came to Avant to try and rent and was discouraged by the guy fixing the bikes. Showed up at 1 pm and he said it was a minimum of 3 hours and they close at 4 pm. He said we need to bring it back before 4 pm and we said we could do that. Then he told us there were no bike paths on the lake that they are just for pedestrians and told us it’s dangerous riding on the road. Since he highly discouraged us from renting we decided to leave and go to another e bike rental place. Suggestion maybe not advertise that you rent e bikes if you don’t want to rent them out.

I had to stop by the shop before the Fontana Triathlon to get my tires checked and stock up on a few supplies. The team was friendly, efficient and made some great pointers for the Tri. Nice bike shop conveniently located right here in Lake Geneva!

Place is exactly what an LBS should be. Friendly, able to get you on a new ride, back on your existing ride, or round out your kit. They experiment and are involved in the community. Solid local bike shop and well deserving to be supported as we are better with them. Highly recommend.
