Barrique Bistro & Wine Bar

Great place for wine and cheese! The charcuterie board was delicious with freshly baked bread still warm from the oven. The views of the lake were great. We'll definitely be back!

Lived here forever never visited till just a week ago. Wish I wld of known about this place sooner. Very small but cute. Good food alittle on the higher side. Worth a visit

Great atmosphere, such a cute little place to grab a bite to eat with the lake in the background! The service was awesome too, the waitress and cooks were very kind and efficient!!! We also met some strangers and talked with them, that was nice! You can't do that in many places anymore and have a good convo!

Dietary restrictions: They knew exactly what to do for people with food allergies! They were great when we asked for the gluten free options!

Parking: If you want to be right next to the place, then you have to pay for street parking and during the summer it can be a nightmare to find parking. If the weather is nice, I highly suggest parking in the free street parking and/or free parking lot areas, but you'd have to walk then. I would say it's about a quarter to a half mile depending on where you park for the free parking and what's available, but Lake Geneva is a great place to walk around, plus on the way back you can work all the delicious food off that you get from here!

On the morning of Sunday September 29th, my daughter and I decided to head to Lake Geneva for the day. We were walking around town and started getting hungry. Barrique looked inviting and we decided to give it a try. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside and had a nice view of the Lake.

We split a flatbread which came with Burrata, tomatoes, pesto, and a drizzle of balsamic. It was very good. Service was friendly and prices are reasonable. If you are in town, you might want to give Barrique a try.

This is the first time I have had this bad of an experience at a restaurant. I called ahead to make sure children were allowed but then I felt so uncomfortable the whole time from hearing people talk about my child and also the waitress being incredibly rude. Not once were we asked if we needed anything or checked on. I’m incredibly disappointed and wish I didn’t waste my money here. If you have children do not bring them here they are not welcome.

What an adorable place! Decent wine list with LOTS of food options. The charcuterie board was amazing. We will be back!

Parking: As is usually the norm in downtown Lake Geneva, you will circle for a while looking for a street spot.

Drove from Illinois. Was our third time there but never again. Was ignored when we got there. Keep in mind there were at least 4-5 young staff members running around having fun ignoring us and the place was almost empty inside besides us. We should’ve left. When the owner came to take our order she looked irritated with us for bothering her. The chicken in the rice bowl looked like tufo so I asked the waitress if it was cooked. I threw most of it away cause it was slimy and mushy and tasted like it was boiled. Not grilled. Everyone in our group felt the service and food wasn’t great this time. Too bad. Because we used to like going there.

Love the wine and bar options. The bourbon flight was nice. Bar had good spirit options!

Enjoyed the happy hour and eating on the patio in the nice weather. Always look at stopping at Barrique when I'm in Lake Geneva.

Came in for the first time for my birthday dinner on Sunday night. Service was abismal. Our waiter took 25 minutes to take our drink order and bring them out. It took even longer to bring out appetizers. We passed on ordering entrees as we saw how slow service was in the beginning. The food was amazing but the service was terrible. Our waiter was MIA the entirety of our visit and when he was talking to another table out on the patio, he proceeded to scratch his behind while taking their order. My partner and I were alarmed that he was serving people food without following proper sanitary practices. We paid for our meal and as we were about to leave, the waiter and who I assume was the manager came out to complain about that tip that was left for the service. It was a disappointing, terrible experience.

Just LOVELY! My friend and I made the trip from Fond du Lac to try and it was so good! So Many good sweet servers… little pricey but worth it!

We stopped in on a very hot day at the lake and enjoyed a couple of drinks. They have a wide selection of wine and spirits. The service that day was very attentive and pleasant. We didn't enjoy any meals but they looked great the ones passing our table.
