Very tasty, wholesome food prepared carefully and priced reasonably! Careful service, a cheerful attitude, a real find! A go-to spot now when we're in Lake Geneva for breakfast or lunch. Just beware of the mercenary metered street parking.

Delish and a warm welcoming place.December 2023.What happened to this restaurant? It used to be a good value. The prices are ridiculous now. We frequented this place for breakfast every time we took a ride to LG. We walked out bc IMO they are price gouging for simple breakfasts.

A very nice Ma & Pa family Cafe. The food was awesome. Cooked just like Grandma used to make. The staff was friendly and our server Lilly was very polite and she kept our Coffee and Iced tea filled all the time. Highly recommend. It was like taking a step back in time.

No soup, no salad, only white or wheat bread, very small grilled cheese sandwich, enough to feed a child, not an adult, never seen a grilled cheese sandwich that small for a whopping $12. No fruit, neither fresh nor canned. No sides of veggies available. The owner talked very loudly to just one customer the entire time; she never welcomed us or talked to us, even though she had plenty of time on her hands. She did no work of any kind the entire 45 minutes we were there. Her chattery conversation with one customer took over the entire room, which subtracted from our privacy or any type of cozy feeling. The final bill was $42 for just 3 of us, and we left still feeling hungry. We frequent many restaurants often and in many surrounding towns, so we have plenty others to choose from, that greatly exceed this restaurant in food option/wide variety, cost value, atmosphere, quantity of food, customer appreciation. It was our first time here and we won't be returning. Very disappointing.Sorry, just being truthful. The Duck Inn, as posh and expensive as it is, would have given us much more food and value, for $50. What does this tell you?

It's a cozy little spot where the service is ALWAYS friendly and helpful. Inside it's a fun and funky paint scheme and the kids will love the fish tank. As for food, it's traditional breakfasts done well. It's our family's go-to spot in town.

It's a small dinner. Most of the guests (diners) know each other, witch makes for a homie type atmosphere. Great food, great service and servers. Just don't park in the Bruno's liquor store lot. He gets VERY UPSET. Unless of course your visiting his store then he's nice as can be. And make sure you ask for the Do Dad's in you hash browns.

First time here, place is very cute, food was average, nothing special, service was polite but on the 'cool' side. The reason for 2 stars is the bathroom was dirty and disgusting. It was like walking into a dive bar bathroom. It was 10 am on a weekday morning and slow, so no excuse for it. Dirty floor (ground in), sink, walls, toilet. If they can't keep up one small unisex bathroom I'd hate to see what the kitchen looks like! Disappointing for Lake Geneva. I would not return or recommend.

The food and staff were awesome! The only reason for 4⭐ is because the coffee was horrible. We would go back and just skip the Java.

Cute diner on North side of downtown. Fairly priced. Excellent service from friendly staff. Careful to watch where you park - parking tickets are pricey downtown!
