My husband and I stayed at Maxwell Mansion this fall and it was great. There were three room options, we chose the "Stables" building which was a fully renovated/new building. Our room was so cute and romantic- with a jacuzzi in room and thoughtful touches like mini scented bath salts and super soft robes. I loved that it was an adult only hotel with a speakeasy in the basement....super cool. We got the password from the Facebook page and had great cocktails. We also got to experience the Joe Diamond mind reader. I had no idea it would be so popular, and it filled up super quick. I will definitely be back in the summer to try out the outdoor salt water pool and highly recommend for a couples getaway.
Rooms: Very unique- each of the different room types had a different vibe. You can stay in the main house that has several rooms (each decorated in a different way) and this feels almost like a BNB. Then there are the "carriage" and "Stables" buildings that are beautiful as well. I'd say the main house is a more traditional decor and the other two are more modern.
Food and drinks: great bars- the apothecary and the basement speakeasy. Light Bites site!

Looking for a relaxing venue for a quick drink by an outsider fire ? The bar has a wonderful outside gas fireplace to sit and sip . Juan, the bartender , made our day by letting us taste some new Fall creations he made! We were able to get a quick peek at the Speakeasy fly the front desk staff - we look forward to coming back soon.

Food and drinks: I’ve only attended Tiki Tuesday and it’s a great option for community members to enjoy the pool and beverages/food!

Just went to check mansion out. Had a couple of drinks at apocathry bar. Recommend monitoring on a hot day. Very refreshing. Server Lainey was friendly & helpful. We will definitely come back to spend a few days. Right in Lake Geneva but never would know it.

Just celebrated our anniversary with a 4 night stay at the Maxwell Mansion and it was perfection! The rooms, the grounds, the service…..all spectacular! We had a delightful surprise when we asked about getting to breakfast in the morning and were told to take a ride in the buggy. The team will take you in the most adorable buggy if requested! The buggy was just the icing on the cake though, we loved every detail!
