The food is good, but VERY pricey!Vegetarian options: There is a wide range of vegetarian, but NO vegan options. Very egg heavy menu, so if you eat eggs, its a nice cafe

Honestly, I had high hopes for this place since the Cafe next door was excellent! The service here was HORRIBLE! My husband and I were taking pictures of their sweet treats and their decor. It was cute and inviting until we were asked, in a very rude manner, why we were taking pictures. I think it's a very valid question, but the accusatory tone was a turn-off. I was about to tell my husband and parents that we should leave, but I wanted to try the desserts that the gals from the cafe raved about. In retrospect, we should've just left. We ordered the chocolate flourless cupcakes, a kouign amann, and a chocolate walnut cookie. The cupcakes were tasty, and so was the cookie. The kouign amann was lacking, and it was hard! I don't trash businesses on Yelp. But the rudeness was ridiculous! They probably would've gotten a higher rating even for mediocre service. But, the ladies were just plain rude! I definitely will not be back when visiting the area.

I was just overcharged $20 due to cashier error and when I went back to clarify, since I had not asked for itemized receipt was told that someone would do returns at the end of the day and text me back and that’s a lot of work for me to make sure I get a refund from a place charging nine dollars for a container of hummus. No apologies, either. Just the cashier scanning the receipt forever as if I somehow was lying. Really disappointing.

The selection of desserts were plentiful and looked delicious but I couldn't help but remember how unfriendly the service was. At first entry, I looked around and started taking pictures like I usually do on Yelp. No hello or welcome in greetings from the workers, all I got was a serious question of what are you taking pictures of???Now my family and I had seriously enjoyed the service and the dining experience at the Simple Cafe next door and wanted to enjoy a tasteful dessert afterwards. Even though the desserts we ordered were really good (like the flourless chocolate cup cake yummmm) I had to deduct a star for the horrible service. If you are committing to the service industry, at least hire people that are friendly and like interacting with people.

Super nice service and very interesting choices on the bakery items. Delicious and nutritious looking whole breads and also little sweet items. We tried the little cheese cake and no flour brownie and both were very rich and sweet and perfect to refuel on sugar during our long bike ride. The prices are bold but ok for the quality. The place was tidy and well presented, well worked with the small space. The bathroom was clean. I recommend.
