The service was good, the atmosphere was great but the food wasn’t worth spending $190 for two people. I felt like management has become so used to people coming for the atmosphere that they have gotten lazy and have started cutting corners to reduce costs and maximize profitability. I have money but really don’t like feeling like I’m being taken advantage of. It’s frustrating, I have a lakefront restaurant near my home that suffers from the same issue. The owners have become complacent because people keep coming for the view. At a certain point it becomes apparent that continuing to return is enabling a certain entropy to continue that can’t ultimately be healthy or inspiring for employees or the community. As it is the owner of that hotel is laughing all the way to the bank. So be it.

The workers went above and beyond helping my elderly clients and I at the buffet. He held dishes for us while I helped them dish up.

Easter brunch- buffet nothing more than disappointment. Not much choices, nothing tasted good. Very disappointed. No decoration for Easter, no music, food is eatable but not worse 60$/person.Been there for dinner before and it was good, not sure what changed.

Everything was terrific. Best steak I've had in awhile. Our server was attentive and friendly. A great experience on our 30th anniversary.

Food is good. Our server was nice but had to take care of too many tables so did not really check on us at all. The view is spectacular.

I came here with my partner during the late summer, and they had a vegetarian ratatouille option which I think was a special they offered during this time. The food was good, I wouldn't say it was the best food I've had but it wasn't bad. They could season the vegetables a bit more for added flavor. I would rate the food by itself only three stars but the service and ambience built my rating up to four. The service was friendly and professional in our experience. The ambiance was what really sells this place, unbeatable views of the lake. We didn't find any other restaurant with the views we were able to have here. There isn't a guarantee that you will have a window seat with the reservations but we got lucky and it was a lovely experience all in all

Went for brunch today. $40.00/per person, plus drinks and tip. combination buffet/omelets made to order. Took 10 minutes to get our drinks. Went to the buffet...no plates and none arrived until we asked for them, 1/2 of the chafing dishes were empty, very poor selection and in no hurry to replenish empty chafing dishes. No pancakes, French toast, fresh fruit, etc. Porkchops were like hockey pucks. Bacon was soggy. Waitress was slow, hesitant to clear the table of dirty dishes, but quick to pick up the completed check. Very poor, would not recommend, would not go back.

My recent dining experience at the Grand View Restaurant was far from satisfactory. We chose this establishment to celebrate a 40th birthday, but unfortunately, the food left much to be desired. Several of my guests voiced their disappointment with their meals. The eggplant lasagna was notably dry and lacked the necessary sauce to make it enjoyable. The fish dish was equally disappointing, as it lacked flavor, leaving us underwhelmed. To add to the culinary letdown, the crab cakes were served cold.Service was another area where the restaurant fell short of expectations. We had to repeatedly request our check, and it took longer than anticipated to receive it. When dining at a fine establishment, one expects impeccable service to complement the cuisine.Considering the amount we spent, which neared $500, the overall experience was far from worth it. I had hoped for a memorable celebration, but unfortunately, the subpar food and service left a lasting negative impression.

I thought the food was really the best ever. There was not enough seating for happy hour which was disappointing. I feel like maybe smaller tables would accommodate more people in the bar area. My food was delicious to be honest and the appetizers were really good too. This is a go to spot for dinner with Lake views to make beautiful memories.

Had not been to the Grandview in a while, so went this evening with another couple. Our waitress, Emily, was excellent! Unfortunately, the food was not. I had the chicken pot pie, which was basically a small dried up chicken breast with some mashed potatoes, three pieces of carrot, and a biscuit on top. My husband had the shrimp gumbo and he could not eat the shrimp. They were so tough and the sausage with it was burnt. We will not go back until there is a new chef very disappointed.!
