I bought two beers and paid for it with a $50 bill and the bartender gave me change for a $20. When I confronted her she proceeded to say that I was wrong and that I gave her a $20 and wouldn’t give me my money back. She then went over and grabbed the bouncer and kicked me out. So the bartender stole my money and then had me kicked out because I confronted her about taking my money. The funny thing is, i wasn’t even able to finish the beer I just bought for $50 because they kicked me out. I had a great night otherwise but that was ridiculous.

Such a great spot to spend with friends; they do not have food but a great variety of drinks and a bunch of games (such as pool, darts, etc). Staff is great as well. The music is terrific and the atmosphere is beyond this world.Adding that the dance floor opens up and the DJ plays fantastic music.

Minimum $10 card transaction is a gimmick for those who don’t drink booz looking for a quick popHad a water, I decided to leave and wasn’t allowed exit with that aforementioned water.Security lacks understanding and personality, seemingly looking to keep people around LG dehydrated.Very poor experience.

A Thumbs patron many years ago it’s truly amazing what the current owners have done with this bar. So clean and nice!! No sticking to the floor here anymore!! A place for all ages - from middle-aged crazy ladies enjoying the Kentucky Derby in the late afternoon to college kids on the dance floor late night surrounded by gaggles of shot-consuming bachelorette- types wearing pink cowboy hats and silly sashes……. Thumb’s UpSaloon is the best for people watching and fun in downtown LG. Hard working bar tenders and a great sound system too!!

My daughter and I stopped in for drinks before an early dinner on 4/7/23. I paid the $29 tab with my credit card and specifically left a generous CASH tip. Apparently the bartender thought his subpar service was worthy of adding an additional $7 tip to my card as $36 cleared the bank.

This place most definitely lived up to the online hype. I googled best bars in Lake Geneva and was not disappointed. Went on a Saturday night. There was a DJ and around 11pm is when this place really takes it up a notch. Met some great people and had a great time.
