Last night was my first time there. Went for our anniversary dinner. Prime rib was great but the garlic butter shrimp was Amazing!! That was the best shrimp we have ever had. Staff was very friendly. Clean and inviting. Will definitely go back. This may be our new anniversary dinner place.

I usually rave about Lizzy T's food..but this time yuck! I went for dinner with my 3 girlfriends and told them how great the food was as they had never ate there before. We were all disappointed. My shrimp Alfredo was "broken" as the sauce obviously had come to a boil and cooked to long and the shrimp was tough. Two of my friends had the fish fry...both of the fish dishes were fine but the French fries were burnt. My other friend had a steak which was ok but too fatty for her liking. Drinks were great but the food disappointing for the price.

Rudest kitchen staff I have ever encountered . It is very sad when you’re a regular and you go into a location and you are made to feel guilty for ordering food, specifically the other night I was told I must not have a life since I was there again ordering dinner.
I would like to point out that I am a busy executive that works an average of 14 hours a day and doesn’t have time necessarily to cook a meal and is generally very appreciative of being able to go to a place such as yours and get a great meal. However, to be belittled for wanting to come to a restaurant midweek was awful and embarrassing.
Fast forward to tonight where we were summarily kicked out of the bar because the head cook Kyle informed us he had worked 10 hours and was “” done”” for the day at 8 PM. I always appreciate everyone and hard work. I work 12 hours minimum by then and today six on top of the 12 hour workday and literally wanted to enjoy cocktails and dinner with friends. I was made to feel guilty and belittled for the 8 PM kick out and by the way, not the first time he has made other patrons of the bar, feel like jerks for wanting to finish either their dinner or their drinks before he was ready to shut the bar and go home.
I realize this will likely be deleted and nothing will happen. I just would like to say as a regular former patron of Lizzie T’s who spent many hundreds of dollars per month, there, I will not be returning, and it is strictly due to the rude behavior of your kitchen stuff, which I plan to spread the word
far and wide once you delete this post.

it is a packed bar with restaurant. walleye is superb. stuffed mushrooms and cheese cheese are absolutely first rate!
Cute little place, close to our "up north" home. Servers were very nice, and we had amazing cheese curds as an appetizer. Fish fry cod and walleye were delicious. Would definitely return.
Great place to eat in the great northwoods! Grea food and service. Very rustic but gives the great up north feel.

Great small rural restaurant and bar. The ribs were excellent and the wild rice was awesome. They have good selection of beer.
