1st timer. Came w/my parents who have enjoyed the place before. Drinks were great , and burgers / fries were just right! However, as a 1st timer, I've gotta say that there seemed to be some tension in the air among the owners. She wasn't very cordial and he barely spoke 2 words to us. Ma raves about the place. Perhaps they were just having an off day...

I went to Sandtrap the first time on Thursday with a friend. We ordered cheese curds and a thin crust cheese and sausage pizza. The food was really good and the service was outstanding. The staff is very friendly and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I will definitely be back!

While the food at Sandtrap was satisfactory, the service was a major letdown. Our server, an older blonde woman, seemed visibly annoyed by our presence from the moment we sat down. Her responses to our questions were short and dismissive. When asked about the ranch dressing, she simply shrugged and said "it's from Sam's," implying that we should know who "Sam" is. While I understand the reference, it's not something a visitor to the area would necessarily be familiar with.
Additionally, when we inquired about the pizza, her response was a simple "it's pizza." It felt as though we were bothering her with our questions. Given the poor service, we're unlikely to return to this restaurant during future visits to the area.

The fried food was plausible, but the pizza was great. Thin crust and ordered extra crispy. Odd thing was the reserved tables. We arrived before 6pm, ate until 7pm, and they close at 8pm. No one ever was seated. Seems a very foolish business practice.
