Food and drinks: The restaurant in the lodge offers great food, included in the price of most vacation packages. The portions are almost overwhelming and I never leave feeling like I didn’t get enough food.

This place is a hidden gem. The grounds are well maintained and the location is beautiful. We were fishing for panfish and caught many perch and a few bluegill. I took my 10 year old daughter here and we had a great time participating in all of the activities that Sunrise has to offer. Phil and Erika are top notch people and work very hard to give their guests a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

We have been going to Sunrise Lodge for many years and love it! Comfortable, clean cabins, great dining room. We go in early September and it is very quiet. Phil and family are great, as is everyone else who works there. A wonderful place to get away from it all!

Nearby activities: Eagle River is about a 20 minute drive; the forests are nearby and there are waterfalls and multiple lakes nearby too
Safety: No need to even leave the property as there is so much to do on-site
Walkability: Lots of opportunities to walk on site and nearby walking trails
Food & drinks: Lots of options available and good quality. Ample portions too
