The Twilight Supper Club and Sandman Lounge

We visit this establishment several times a year when we are “up north”. The supper club is now under new ownership and the new owner is just as friendly and charming as the the last ones. We wish you the best. See you in January!

New owners= major improvement in service and food! I had baked fish. Hubby had fish fry. Both were very tasty. Cocktails were strong like we make them at home. Haven't had salad bar in a long time - nice to see those traditional favorites. And to be warmly greeted by the new owner before and after dinner was very nice.

From the moment we walked in we felt welcome. The new owners, Jeff and Cori, greeted us and introduced themselves. We loved it! Service by Mitchell was fantastic! He was personable and checked on us the perfect amount of times through our dinner. And now the food…it was fantastic. Filet could have been cut with a butter knife. Ribs were literally falling off the bone. Salad bar was super fresh. We all said as we left that this is our new favorite spot in the Northwoods. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality!

One of the best evenings. Started at the bar with drinks and stimulating conversation with Shannon. (Ice cold beer - best in the Northwoods) Mary had our table ready and we enjoyed a trip to the fresh & tasty salad bar complete with herring, spinach & hot bacon dressing, and all the favorite fixings. Our table sampled the shrimp scampi ravioli, Lake perch, shrimp fettuccine, and grilled chicken fettuccine - all were excellent as was our server. I enjoyed one of the best Brandy Old Fashioned as well. This was our first visit to Twilight Supper Club and we're already planning our next visit.

Dinner was fantastic, had the perch and it was done perfectly, lightly breaded and crisp. Salad bar is loaded with great options and the twilight old fashioned is quite tasty with a hint of maple syrup.

The food and service were good but there was the smell of a rotting mouse carcass somewhere in the wall near our table. The same smell was in the area of the hostess desk. I have worked in many older building before and easily recognized this odor. It really made me question the cleanliness of the restaurant. Would definitely pass on eating here again. Hard to believe it would pass a health inspector visit.

A great dining experience with a touch of yester year nostalgia. Very friendly staff and very hospitable. Definitely a place to go with friends for an evening of good food and an a social atmosphere.
