I want to share this situation that was posted on Jojo's Diner's Facebook page. For Halloween this year, the employees dressed as Olympic athletes. One employee went so far as to paint her face black, and Jojo's backed this decision, claiming they saw nothing wrong with it, despite the controversy it sparked. This is deeply troubling and reflects racism at its core. I am very disappointed in Jojo's and will no longer be visiting, as this is not the kind of small business I will be supporting.
