5 stars! Amazing, quality food with a relaxed come as you are atmosphere. Highly recommend! Filet, walleye, lobster fries, calamari, and lobster salad I can personally attest all were amazing! I live to eat food and I will be back frequently now that we found this gem!

Stopped for the first time with my family. Fantastic! I had the Mahi Mahi, and it was delicious... I also took a forkful of one sisters walleye and it was great, I'm coming back for that! Another sister got the lobster risotto and couldn't finish it, so of course I had to help her out. That was incredible too! We topped it off by sharing a creme brulee... It was great, and I can't wait to return...

My grandparents, Gene and Ceil Karcz used to own and operate this building in the 1960s and 70s. It was called Karcz’s bar back then. My family and I thought it would be fun to go there recently, and that perhaps even the owner would get a kick out of meeting the prior owners’ family. Some additional relatives decided to make their own reservation shortly after ours was scheduled, and the plan was to eat separately and have a drink together before or after the meal.
The owner canceled both reservations. When my aunt, who made the first reservation called and asked why, the owner was extremely snotty and accused her of trying to circumvent the policy limiting the number of people per reservation. Just because other relatives made their own reservation after ours. She tried to explain this to the owner, and he hung up on her.
So, to the owner- I have no idea who you are, but the way you speak to other human beings, let alone prospective patrons is disgusting. What an appalling way to run a business. I’m sure my grandparents would be horrified knowing someone as rude and disrespectful as you is now running their bar.
And by the way, we took our business elsewhere and went to a different area restaurant where we were treated with dignity. Your loss.

Fantastic menu, food and service. We ordered lobster fries, lobster risotto, mahi mahi, rib eye. Everything fantastic.
Don’t go here! Asked for simple non-dairy option like rice or fries instead of dairy potato options, told no way! I have a dairy allergy and this was a simple request. Prices way too high for this dive bar. Go to Chives instead.

Very disappointed. After spending $25 on 2 drinks, got our table only to discover nothing on menu was dairy free. Asked to sub fries for cheesy potatoes and told absolutely not…no substitutions in anything. Told we should have looked at the menu before coming. Come on…throw down a basket of fries, not too tough! Atmosphere definitely dive bar. Was hopeful, but left hungry! Staying with Chives for the prices they are charging and unwillingness to help someone with food allergy.!
