After a great walk at Gibraltar Rock we stopped here for lunch at the advice of our mailman Nick. It was not busy as It had just opened and it was the Badgers bye week so we sat at the bar and while the bartender got us our drinks we looked at the menu. We already knew we were gonna order pizza as that is what they are known for. My partner ordered the 10 in. Goat cheese pizza which has Canadian bacon,mushrooms,green peppers and of course goat cheese she asked if she could substitute banana peppers for the green peppers which they gladly did. I ordered a 10 in pepperoni and sausage pie with extra cheese. While we waited for our pies we watched some football on one of the several tvs around the bar area as more people started to come in for lunchtime. Our pizza's came out in a very short time and they were everything we were told and more from the thin crispy crusts to the toppings these 2 pizzas although totally different were both outstanding and just like that we have another pizza place added to our rotation for pizza day. You owe it to yourself if you love good pizza to check it out take a little ride to Lodi and the Log Tavern Pizza Co. It will be worth it.

The pizza here is fantastic!!! The crust is delicious and they pile on whatever toppings you add to your pizza. The server Betty was very responsive and friendly. It's our go to pizza place that's worth the drive from Madison.

Appetizers were great. Service was great. The pizza was terrible. 4 of us tried and agreed. Was still forced to pay for a pizza we didn't eat. Granted, I'm not a local, typically where I'm from your not charged for something that was sent back, but I digress.

The people were rude and discriminatory against my partner and I. We were told we had to sit at the bar to wait for food and were not able to sit at a table in the bar area. The staff and others were rude and stared at us the whole time we were there.

The best Chicago tavern style pizza around. We come here from Baraboo, as there is no good pizza there or the Dells. Pepperoni with extra cheese, well done. Perfection. Thin, cracker style crust just like in Chicago (Barnabys). Sometimes long wait-times, but definitely worth it. Highly recommend!

Not only did our group get asked to move tables (totally fine and understanding about this on its own) but it was 2 hours from the moment we sat down at the table to when we got our food. At the 1hr and 15 min mark we asked for our food to go since we were told it was going to be a little while longer. This was for a chicken salad and a single 14" pizza.
Waitress was great and table service was not a problem at all. But if its going to be 2 hours to get food that is something you should tell a group. When telling the person when paying our bill all i got was a "oh im sorry, have a great night".
All's it takes is 3 words....BEST PIZZA EVER!!
