Great bar and bartender, we stopped in with 6 of us and the bartender was great. The place was clean and food was good. We all ordered something different and cannot complian. We will definetly stop back when in the area.

The owner is a stand up guy. We didn't know he had closed when we got there, but he made us the best tacos I've ever had, and we had great conversation with him!! Highly recommend!! No doubt

Although I didn't get to try the food at murdoch's, I really need to commend the quality of people who own it. I was in the middle of the horrible storm and pulled into the parking lot to try to ride it out when the foor flew open and an arm waived me in. there was a tornado touch down in Lowell and they invited my dog and myself inside in case it came our way at the bar. I was so appreciative of the kindness and concern they showed a stranger and her dog! I will be back to try their food and support the business
A group of us stopped here on a Friday for some food. We had just read the 1 star review and thought we would check out the parking lot to make our decision. There was a handful of cars so we walked in. There were several people sitting at the bar and no one in the dining area. We chanced it and sat down. The last review had some negative feelings expressed about the bar tender. The woman that was at the bar for us and served us was no non-sense, sassy and funny. We all thought she was great. Now one to the fish fry. It was Friday. The ones in our group that like fish ordered the fried cod. Some with the cheesy hash browns and some with fries. The fish was delicious! Light, flaky with a light batter. We all agreed it was good. The sides were tasty. If I was in the area again I would definitely stop. I am actually surprised that there were not more people there eating. This is your typical Wisconsin bar. Good people, good food, good prices. Thanks!

We went here for the Old Fashion passport. We also wanted to grab lunch, but immediately as we entered we were the only ones in there and were greeted with visible irritation by the lady working. The lady bartending was the rudest we said we’ve ever been treated by another person. It was very off putting & uncomfortable. We tried to be pleasant & lighten her mood & it didn’t seem to help. She didn’t offer us menus and said she probably gave us the wrong drinks. We were so uncomfortable we left before finishing the drinks. It was a super bizarre experience. Hope that lady’s day got better! But would not recommend.

Food was great. Service was great. Went there to play bingo and get dinner. The dinner was worth it, the bingo was not. I'm glad we left prior to paying our $50 to play bingo. Not a single prize I was able to see was worth $50. Arguably, there were probably better prizes I didn't see; however, that doesn't make up for the fact the person running bingo being extremely rude. I dont know who hurt her in a past life, but her behavior was uncalled for. If you're looking for great food, definitely stop. Dont waste your money on the bingo.
