Love stopping by whenever we’re in the area. Chicago Dogs are spot on and can’t beat the view, both for the rail enthusiast and Mississippi River fan.
We stopped here for the first time. Must have been understaffed as there was one person taking orders and cooking. Took 20 mins to put in our order and we ordered 3 hot dogs on a poppy seed bun. Cheese curds, seasoned fries and one root beer. Our hotdogs came on a pretzel bun, fries were not seasoned. Cheese curds were good. Beautiful outdoor view and seating. We randomly stopped at The Dawg House yesterday on a spur of the moment Saturday road trip and they have the best food! The woman at the counter was super friendly and I could see her hand dipping the corn dog I ordered 😋. Dan got a hot dog on a pretzel bun and said it was delicious. You order at a window and there is seating available outside along the Mississippi River.
