Our first time here. One person taking orders and cooking everything. Lunch time 1:30. Waited in line 20 minutes to order. Ordered 3 hotdogs on a poppy seed bun. Seasoned fries were not seasoned. Hotdogs came on a pretzel bun. When asked for a poppyseed bun the gal was kinda mad. She never apologized. She was warming things in the microwave. Was not the best hotdog around. Beautiful view outside. So sad about the service food and wait time. Probably won’t be returning.

We stopped here for the first time. Must have been understaffed as there was one person taking orders and cooking. Took 20 mins to put in our order and we ordered 3 hot dogs on a poppy seed bun. Cheese curds, seasoned fries and one root beer. Our hotdogs came on a pretzel bun, fries were not seasoned. Cheese curds were good. Beautiful outdoor view and seating. Two of us took our hotdog back and asked for a poppy seed bun. The gal did not look happy and was a little mad. She never apologized. She threw my dog and pretzel bun away being a little mad. I saw her putting things in the microwave to heat and we got our new dogs and bun. Still no apologies. Hot dogs didn’t have any grill marks so Im not sure how they were cooked. Our first visit was not good and for almost $30.00. A bit afraid to go back.

Ate at their outdoor seats and had a couple trains go by during our meal. Chili dog on pretzel bun and raspberry sundae were very good.

We randomly stopped at The Dawg House yesterday on a spur of the moment Saturday road trip and they have the best food! The woman at the counter was super friendly and I could see her hand dipping the corn dog I ordered 😋. Dan got a hot dog on a pretzel bun and said it was delicious. You order at a window and there is seating available outside along the Mississippi River. I highly recommend stopping if you are on The Great River Road, WI side of Mississippi near Lynxville, WI.

Always loved the lemonade. We took the kids this time. The Hand dipped corn dogs where a huge hit. They said the best ones they have ever had.

The owner was very friendly, and even stopped out back in the seating area to make sure everything was to our liking. I had cheese curds and catfish. Delicious!

The Dawg House is definitely okay but I personally, wouldn't say it was the best. I called beforehand to ask if they had shakes on their menu, the lady answered and as I was going to ask another question, she hung up. She was nice at the window but the phone call service was a bit of a flop. I live locally but I have never ordered there and I wasn't aware of how to order and pay, which she got a little snappy about towards me. The chocolate shakes tasted very much like chocolate but they were very runny and unevenly mixed. They're 5 dollars/ shake. Not to mention... I waited 20 mins for 3 shakes. I had to run home and stick them in the freezer immediately. Would recommend but not on the regular.
Great food enviorment friendly people favorite place to go and its 100 mile trip but so worth it

we stopped for chili dogs fries and drinks, we were charged 34.00 for 2 chili dogs 2 fries and 2 drinks. I am pretty sure that is not what I was told the total was at the window or I would have said forget it. completley ridiculous.
