We had the sampler and shared a plate of blackened scallops as an appetizer. The food was spot on and the service is unique in one of a kind.

Traveled an hour to celebrate our 25th anniversary there. Service was excellent, food was good but expensive and underwhelming: We had the Cajun Sampler which was tasty but Jambalaya and Étouffée portions of it were unusually small and Étouffée was served without rice, which I found odd. They simply poured a few Tablespoons of gravy on the plate, all by itself. Drinks were ridiculously priced, three ordinary cocktails were $53. We mentioned our milestone anniversary when we made the reservation months in advance, to the bartender (owner), and to the hostess but were disappointed when nothing was done in celebration of it. We would have been happy with a complimentary cup of coffee at the end of a $250 dinner. Bananas Foster was spectacular and a must. Three hours start to finish.

Excellent food. More mild than regular Cajun. Will return. Actually, we went by boat. They have nice docks.

Come here knowing that service is intentionally drawn out, plan on at least 2 hours. We were planning on a great dining experience. But, in the end, decided the food was really not very good, not sure why. I grew up near the Gulf and eat and cook Cajun often. Nothing we had seemed right. Gumbo has funny texture, etoufee was mixed with sweet cream, and blackened catfish had strange taste.

Went here with friends. It’s never open so we were lucky to actually get a table. If you like pretense and pomp this is the place for you. The food is extremely average and the prices are high. Not family friendly either although we did not have our kids with us. Overall we were extremely disappointed and would no recommend this place to anyone we know.

The food is always great. We had wine and appetizers at the bar. We enjoy meeting new people there.
Plan to go back this year for the full meal experience.

Absolutely a wonderful place. Owner is the bomb. Works her tail off. Food is spectacular. The staff takes pride and is friendly. Hard to get in when busy but well worth your time.

I cannot say enough good things about this incredible restaurant. I wish I could give more than five stars in all categories. Dinner started with an incredible seafood patae followed by the delicious soup and tableside salad cart. The main course was that nightly special of blackened Prime rib which was beautifully cooked and seasoned. While I don't like dessert our group had the Bananas Foster and everyone loved it! The only negative is we eventually had to leave which we eventually did completely stuffed and happy. I cannot wait to visit them again next year.
