Rustic Roadhaus

Went in with a group of 9 and were told couldn’t sit together. 5 minutes later they seat a table of 9 next to us. Can’t order appetizers with drinks - gotta wait. No sharing a meal between 2 people (couples) or there’s a charge. No napkins at the table. Bartender east overly friendly. Just not very WI like in our experience.

Service was very slow. It was clean but food was not the best. Pass on the homemade fries. I still can't figure out why they tasted odd and were cold.

We stopped here for lunch last Friday and it was pretty darn good. I got the mushroom and Swiss burger. It exceeded my expectations. The homemade chips that I chose for my side were also tasty. For an appetizer we ordered the fried pickles and my only complaint was they were a bit on the salty side. Once dipped in the sauce they came with though we didn't notice as much. They were still very good. I can't wait to return again for another burger.

Side note: I enjoyed the bathroom. Typically I hate using public bathrooms but this one was roomy and clean and I thought the amenities on the counter were a nice touch.

Excellent mozzarella, fresh basil pizza. Great flavor. Quiet, Sweet little roadside bar/grill.
Seating is sore on the backside. ?ouch

Northwoods bar and grill. Knotty pine interior. We tried the reuben sammie and whitefish basket. The fries were pretty soft and soggy, not crispy at all. The fish was ok but a little greasy.

Showed up 30 minutes b4 they stopped serving breakfast. Walked in and was told we 5 minutes to order. I thought oh this should be interesting... It was it was great! Food was great. Service was great owners cooking and serving and portions were huge. I walked away from eating all my bacon first time in my life. Bacon was good I just couldn't finish.

Will definitely be back to see what dinner is like.

Food was outstanding! Steak sandwich was approved by a 10 year old and the chicken tenders were homemade! Great place to take kids during the day on vacation.

Great place! Best caeser salad ever! Add blackened chicken tobtopbit all off.
These were the best deep fried dill pickle chips I have ever had.
The breading was so good and light.
Cheese curds wonderful.
People and service outstanding.

I have been here dozens of times - solid "North Woods" bar experience! Good food, good service and a nice place to hang out with friendly people. Check it out!

Roadside bar. Cool enough inside. Feels tired. Good pizza. Not worth going out of your way but worth a stop.
