Smokey's Restaurant and Supper Club

We drove 35 mins to Smokey's because we heard good things. We did not call ahead so when we got there at 6:25 pm they said we could have a reservation time of 8pm. We agreed and sat at the bar area awaiting our turn. Greg the bartender super aware and quick with how busy it was..that was not my issue. My issue is when regulars walk in and are seated while we waited..and waited..once 8:30 hit with tables empty and we were obviously not being seated and completely forgot we left. So basically if you are an out of towner maybe avoid this place because they will avoid you!!! At the end of the day the bartender is great the rest of the staff is unaware and I have no clue how the food was since we never got to sit down.

Food, service and atmosphere were all wonderful! We completely enjoyed drinks, appetizers, and a fantastic meal at Smokey's! The staff couldn't have been more courteous and accommodating!

We chose Smokey's to celebrate our anniversary. Every experience was a good one. Barb our server was the best, took care of everything in a unobtrusive way and efficiently. They were very busy but we never felt rushed. Food was superb, I loved the lobster bisque, delicious. My husband had the stroganoff, he loved it as well. And to top off the whole experience, we received a complimentary dessert in celebration of our anniversary. It was a completely wonderful experience dining at Smokey's.

We would have given a 5 star rating, but we were Sat for 40 mins after our reservation time. People had a reso after us, but must have been regulars, and they sat them before us. Our cocktails, server Barb, and food were great. The French onion soup was delicious

The quality just seems to have gone downhill. The salads are extremely basic and cheaply made. The rice with the lamb was very dry, just seems like it was a mix out of a bag. While the lamb tasted good itself, the Dijon was very over powering. I can just tell it's a lot of cheap ingredients, and for the price I would just expect more

Last thing that really got me was I made a reservation 3 weeks ago for 630pm for my girlfriend's birthday. When we got there at 630 we were told our table wasnt ready because someone was still sitting there. We were told it would just be a few minutes but we didn't get seated until 7pm. I would expect a reservation to reserve a table...not just waiting for one to clear up upon arrival

Really enjoy dining here, the staff are friendly, the food is excellent, I think we need to go weekly.
Definitely going back a couple more times this summer.

A wonderful supper club. Very traditional from the Old Fashions to the appetizer tray and very strong menu. The desserts were great. A good place for couples and families. A real find in the North Woods.

Pricey but excellent food. Limited menu but something for everyone. Staff very pleasant and friendly.
