Went here for the first time with a friend and my son. They were incredibly busy and only had one bartender and one waiter working. The waiter did what he could to help everyone but it was obvious he was stretched out. They were out of Sheppard's pie and most of their soups but the food we were able to order was very good. I really feel bad for places like this as I am sure they labor pool is very small after kids go back to school but they did their best. We will definitely stop again and give them a second chance as I have heard many good things about them.

We arrived around 5:30 on a Saturday evening and placed our drink order. The drinks were served after 15 min. We tried to order the Shepherds pie and the Irish stew. The Irish specialty items were not available. We placed an order for ribs instead. About 30 minutes later our ribs arrived with an order of sweet potato fries and a small dish of canned green beans. The people that served us were very kind and helpful. The floor around our table was littered with a plastic container and a used napkin. Our view was by a window that overlooked some trashy items. The food was okay. We won’t be back.
Very busy, so some excuse for the poor and ridiculously slow service. Food was good, not quite great.

The wife and I stopped at Ye Olde Shillelagh to eat some dinner. She ordered the "world famous" Rueben, and she was highly disappointed it was served cold. Needless to say, the rueben she had at The Pea Patch a couple of weeks earlier was 100 times better!!
