Courthouse Pub is a great spot in downtown Manitowoc and well worth a visit. The food is consistently good with a nice mix of elevated pub favorites and creative dishes. Service is friendly and attentive without feeling rushed. The atmosphere is relaxed but polished enough for date night or a nicer dinner out. Solid quality, good value, and I would definitely come back.
We had not ben to Courthouse Pub for many years - however, in Manitowoc for a concert at the Capital Civic Center. Super convenient to the CCC and an easy walk to the theater once parked for dinner. Great menu, great food, and good service. We were able to be in and out with plenty of time to get to the concert. Drinks were a little slow to come to the table, but food was delivered promptly. Great specialty drink menu, and food menu was a good mix of classic pub favorites and other full entrees. Also good desert menu with typical favorites (cheesecakes, flourless chocolate cake, and creme brulé). Waitress was very friendly and accommodating, though was servicing multiple tables. An excellent meal, and an excellent night !
Old Fashioned drink was terrible. Steak was good but small for price. Menu too limited on New Years Eve. Potatoes were good.
Anytime our son comes home from Chicago, he asks that we go to the Courthouse Pub for Dinner and Drinks. It is always great service and food. We are more than happy to go there with him.
We eat at Court House Pub regularly enjoying the food, service and ambience. Menu specials and soup are excellent. Pork chop with accompaniment looked as good as it tasted.
Four of us at on Saturday 11/1/25 later in the evening. We were greeted & seated promptly and our server came right over. We had drinks, 2 appetizers and then we split two different entrees. All of the food was delicious especially the salmon dip. The bread that came with it was fresh and delicious. Two of us had the fish & chips along with chicken chili soup. The other two people had the salmon and risotto with a salad. Everything was delicious and our server continued to check on us. Excellent ambience and we will definitely come again when in the area.
Underwhelming food, especially for the price. Worst lemon drop martini I've ever had. Very nice waiter and staff but I would not go back. When in the area stick to some of the great bar food in town and skip trying to find something more upscale.
This is the only almost fine dining restaurant in the area, some clients actually do dress up, others do not, either way they treat you very well, Eric makes you feel very special and is very welcoming. They make fabulous cocktails and the food is exceptional
We have been to Courthouse Pub prior and have had a great meal. The steak was not cooked the way I ordered it and the waiter ordered me new one which was correct. By then the rest of the meal was cold.
My salmon was delicious and my companions enjoyed their meals. Service was a little bit slow but the server was very nice. Ambience was great, we sat in the bar area. All in all we enjoyed our visit and will be back.

We had an enjoyable evening. Eric was a charming server very professional and knowable. Loved his dinner suggestion of strawberry rhubarb chicken. Tangy and crunchy w panko breading Wine selection was ok but specialty bourbon old fashioned was spot on. Worth a visit!
The whole meal was excellent, from beginning with the blueberry burrata, continuing to panko chicken with strawberry rhubarb jam with feta risotto, the ribeye topped with chimichurri sauce to finishing with lemon berry mascarpone cake was creative, original and very satisfying! Thank you!
It was a wonderful leisurely evening with delicious food, refreshing cocktails, and outstanding service!
Eric was our server. Very personable he was outstanding! Two of us ordered the pork shank one ordered tenderloin and one ordered a pasta dish. The comments from the group was that it was some of the best food we've eaten in a long time. Everything was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious.Cheers to the chef and staff.!
Pros: Pleasant atmosphere Beer is cold Cons: The whole concept. Read the menu before going. Nothing except the burger is ordinary. It's being cutsey, almost snarky like "I know something you don't" with unusual combinations and words. It's quite pricey as well. My wife's penne pasta had a few shrimp....but at a premium. My $17 hamburger was lean (i.e. dry), zero taste and no sauce, offer for A-1, ketchup, mustard, etc.. For that price, it should be juicy and tasty. No, your add-on cheese can't be anything ordinary. You want swiss? No. Cheddar? Just white cheddar. $7 for craft tap beer even in these days is a bit on the high side. But if you're going to do that, at least know your beer. My wife's question - "What's your Zambaldi beer?" "It's an IPA." Hmm, kind of right, but it's not the beer that's brewed in the Courthouse Pub; it's brewed in Green Bay! $57.50 plus tip for average tasting food does not warrant a repeat visit for me.
