Usually a good meal at this location, but last Friday we ordered Perch. Never had a fish Perch meal this bad. There were bones in the fish (I can get beyond that), but what really turned us off was the breading used on the deep fried entry. The cooking format / breading made the fish reflect like something made out of cardboard. Our friends were first timers with us that night and they (and I) were totally turned off!!! No plans to try this again as other venues offering perch in Manitowoc put out a much better product. Second issue = We usully sit in the larger dining area but we were put in the small table side room and it smelled of mold!!! As we left we noticed the former apartment structure attached to the building next door has been condemned by the city as Uninhabitable. I can only suspect that is where that smell was coming from!

Great food. Friendly waitress. Casual local place. Good drinks and dessert. Would go back if we lived in the area. !!!!!

We both had a good experience there, food is really good. My steak had an amazing flavor, so did everything else. Great service, but the drinks are a little strong

If a Wisconsin supper club can’t produce a good perch dinner, are they to be trusted? One fillet tasted nasty. The other was better, but both were soggy and overcooked. The other perch order at our table was the same, one bad and one ok. Makes me wonder if they found some at the bottom of the freezer and decided to mix them in with some fresher ones. Overcooked seemed to be the theme of the evening, as most dishes at our table suffered this fate. I do not recommend.

Disappointed they didn't offer anything special for Valentines day. It was just a night out. Won't go back for future Valentines.

Recommended by some locals we met at Petskull, glad we checked it out! An older supper club that certainly could use a refresh, but that didn't affect the service, drinks or food. You order at the bar and when ready they bring you to your table. Bar staff were very nice, and drinks are very reasonably priced. Food was good and would be considered inexpensive in todays world. Salmon oscar and seafood pasta were the specials and quite tasty. Dining room is dark with a family restaurant vibe, but didnt take away from our total dining experince.

12/26/24 6pm. Unusual layout throughout. Busier than expected. We had reservations, but delayed, though it worked out. We were in a private room shaped like home plate and I saw another rectangular. All the food turned out well. Hot butterscotch drink and Point pistachio beer were great choices. Bartender knew his stuff. No need to single him. He knew you were there and was efficient. Seemed like locals and travelers with pleasant conversations. Good Cajun chicken.

Parking: No lot, but parked right in front.

Had the walleye, it was good. Great neighborhood bar feel. The staff is friendly and I pleasure to talk to. A little dark on the inside. But all around a nice place to hang out. I will definitely be back and most likely.Have a steak next time.

Wait time can be an issue for dinner, even late at night. Drinks are rather affordable while most dishes are a tad pricy. The chicken pecan was well-seasoned and tasted wonderful. The cream of mushroom was also very tasty. Very good tasting, standard American fare.

Parking: A small row of parking is available in front. More parking available down the street, both sides

Visiting from out of state on a weekday and we were looking for a nice restaurant close to the lighthouse. We were greeted right away, very friendly staff. Drinks and food came in good timing. The duck wontons were amazing and obviously homemade. I ordered a ribeye with steak fries and creamy chicken and rice soup. The steak was perfectly cooked and very tender. Great experience.

Such an amazing experience. From the staff, to the food, to the guests sitting next to you. The staff.. everyone is beyond polite and friendly. The food… if you love pasta, this is your place! If you love steak, this is your place! If you love food in general, this is your place!!

I 10/10 recommend checking this place out. It’s now part of our weekly tradition. I hope it will be yours too!

The ribeye was fantastic. Also had a few old fashions that were made well.
