So I ordered pizza for the crew which were 3 signature 14 inch pizzas 2 orders of mozzarella stick and cheeses bread OMG YUM! I picked it up and it was steaming hotI highly recommend this place and can't wait to try other dishesThey went above and beyond

After many years, I've been here twice in the last two months. The good news is that the service is top notch. the ambiance is dark and roomy; but they tend to put customers close the each other, although the dining area is large enough to spread people out more. First visit I ordered a calzone and my wife ordered a Stephano salad. My calzone was hard as a rock and luke warm on the inside. But it was tasty. My wife's salad was chopped into little pieces and she found the feta overwhelming.Second time I ordered ravioli and my wife ordered spaghetti. My ravioli was okay. The marinara sauce had the consistency of spicy catsup. My wife's spaghetti was undercooked to the point that you couldn't twirl it onto a fork. Bottom line the food is okay, the house salads are well done. The service staff are friendly and efficient.Next time I'll try their pizza. Hopefully their pizzas are stellar.

Italian to me is all about the red sauce. I really enjoyed their red sauce and would recommend it. I ordered a simple dish - pick your noodle, sauce and any add on items. I ordered penne with marinara and mushrooms. I didn't like the $2.00 charge for mushrooms - seemed excessive, but I did ask for it to be baked which they didn't charge for. Basically the "Baked Penne" on the menu with out the meatball. The sauce is just a little sweet, not too much to notice right away, but there was plenty of it and having the garlic bread to mop it up with was the best.You order at the bar and then they tell you when the table is ready - such a strange Wisconsin thing, but it worked great. Service was friendly and quick.The menu is very extensive and everyone with varying diets can find something on it.

Food is delicious however, my order was wrong. I ordered an 18 inch special and a 12 inch cheese with half pepperoni, one garlic bread with cheese. It was delivered at 5:20 PM.All that is perfect because I have three kids that need to go to bed around 630. However, the 12 inch pizza came with all pepperoni and two of my children are extremely picky. I called and they are bringing me the right pizza. However I have to wait another roughly 45 minutes .They are also taking back the first pepperoni pizza.I am glad that I’m getting the right pizza delivered. However, it’s inconvenient explaining to three children that their cheese pizza is now going to be another 45 minutes. Pushing back bedtime routine. .

Oh my god! I don't know where to start! I've always have pizza from here but never ordered off the menu... well, well, well... now it's gonna be a struggle because wow the food is AMAZING! From the perfectly cooked calamari grossing out my old lady when I was playing with my food to the cozy atmosphere and awesome service! I can't wait to go back!

I was in town for a couple of weeks and this spot was suggested to me by the homeowners. I ventured over and it was clearly marked to go to the bar first - whether choosing to eat at the bar or a table. You always order at the bar, and it will be delivered to your table if you choose to sit in the dining room. I sat at the bar by my lonesome and loved chatting with the friendly servers. We talked about local spots I should check out to what podcasts we liked. I ordered an espresso martini and it was perfect (the bartender had a tattoo of it on her arm!) All the entrees come with a cup of soup or a salad with a piece of garlic bread. I started with an order of cheesy garlic bread (come on, one piece without cheese wasn't going to cut it). That was delicious! I chose the minestrone and the Nico pasta entree. This was a perfectly al dente penne pasta in white wine, cream, and marinara sauce. It included Italian sausage and I added some peas to it as well. I brought some home - very generous portions! The kicker? I was in Manitowoc for ten days and came back to Luigi's three times. I got the same thing each time (switched up the soups) - it was THAT good.

Absolutely the pinnacle of Italian cuisine in the Manitowoc area. Excellent food and service, nothing I've had anywhere else comes even close to this.
How have I never been here after coming to Wisconsin for 40 years, I don't know, but now that I found it, I will go back often. The food was beyond amazing from salad to pasta to dessert. Drinks were well made and reasonable prices. Loved being able to sit at the bar till the salads were ready and then getting sat to eat right away! Service was outstanding at the bar and table! Must try for anyone!
