We had a great time at Ryan's on York. Took a tip from a local and were pleased with everything especially the friendly staff. Would recommend it to anyone.

Food was creative, delicious, fresh, and very reasonably priced. Ponzu melt, tofu bites, and Korean tacos were all perfect! Great beer selection, menu, and music too!!Vegetarian options: There were several vegetarian appetizers and main dish options. Tofu bites were delightful.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Lots of families here, we played a family card game while we waited for our food. Burgers and fries were perfect for our kids.

vicky Loves to eat good food

I love to just up and run away and find great places to eat and sight see! Today I decided to go to Manitowoc and have a drink and some food at a random spot..and this spot did not disappoint ?? the different craft beer selection was on point and rotates regularly...the fried tofu app was on point! And the Nan w black rice and beef tenderloin and cabbage w garlic aioli was ?which I did not get to take a picture of was soo mouth watering! The Bartender on duty was very friendly and helpful and I will definitely be returning!

This place is amazing. The food is just exceptional with brilliant flavor profiles. ? Also, try the unfamiliar beer, I've never been disappointed with what I've chosen.

Good place, my vegetarian friends loved it! However the burger and fries needed more, the infusion of flavors is interesting but all over the place so not entirely sure what the chef does well from my view.

First impression walking in: Eh, it's a crusty townie bar. The interior is not what I would call aesthetic/vibey, but my mom loves this place so she insisted we give it a try during our visit to Manitowoc. We were here for late lunch on a Wednesday, and I was surprised by how crowded it was (maybe due to the holiday break?) Those RoY fries are definitely where it's at. I had to split them with four people, but next time I'm getting my own haha! Also loved the Door County Mule (and variety of cocktails in general). We also enjoyed an order of the San Fran noodles. As someone coming from Indy, I liked seeing some more diverse food options in Manitowoc. Also, loved that most of the cocktails/wines were under $8--that's incredible.

Tiny local favorite. Great beers on tap! Can be crowded, but always worth the wait. Regular favorite is the Forbidden Naan.

The food is usually pretty good. My issue is with the consistency of the food. I will order the same thing and several times it will be good and then I will get the same thing and it will be yuck. This is one of our go to spots to grab food in town and is one of the better run establishments. The building is always really well kept. Staff is always really friendly. Sam rocks!
