Stumbled across this place by accident and what a find! The staff made us feel like old friends, the decor was really cool with neat antique sporty things up front and cool old movie posters in the back. There was a cooler with a variety of cool and funky sodas and beers (as well as the standards). The real winner, however, was the food! The special was a prime rib that made my husband’s eye’s roll with glee. I had the Alfredo which was thick creamy and flavorful. My daughter’s pulled pork sandwich was so good we ended up ordering five pounds of the meat to go. We live 45 minutes away, but I think we will be making some more frequent trips to Marshfield just for this eatery.

The only thing that is better than the food are the people that work here. 10/10.
This is one of the best restaurants in Marshfield. A must stop , fresh pasta, Alfredo sauce home made with a excellent flavor. The BBQ brisket is to die for, tender and excellent flavor. Creamy broccoli soup, homemade, excellent. Now then the kanollies are to die for. They need to open a shop in EauClaire, but until then we will travel to Marshfield. And very friendly folks running the place. Make the trip to Marshfield, it's worth the trip. Thank you again for a wonderful lunch

This is a Gotta do before you die kind of place.
Gumbo, is in the top 3 that I've tasted.
I've been to Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, and Georgia.
Louisiana still #1.
But 2nd or 3rd to that is not too shabby.
Marshfield Wi. worth the trip.

Yesterday I had pasta and meatballs at Mojo's in Marshfield. The sauce was the best marinara I've had in at least a decade. Chunks of tomato and onions, fresh chopped herbs and parmesan on top, made from scratch (obviously) by a cook who knows their way around herbs and spices. Menu is varied, running from gumbo and po'boys to salads to vegan and poke bowls.

Very nice, cozy restaurant in the heart of Marshfield, Wisconsin. Family owned, fresh, great tasting food. The staff is extremely cordial and attentive.

I was hoping for much better given the nearly $30 price tag. $3 of which was for a can of diet coke that I had to get out of the cooler because the beverages are self serve and the ordering is done at the counter but the food is deliveredto you at the table which is a cumbersome setup for new customers. The salmon was overcooked and lacked flavor but still edible. The veggies had good flavor but the carrots were almost raw. Unsure if they were a last minute add to the nearly cooked dish or not. Since it is a open kitchen plan to the dining area, I listened to the staff all openly gossip about their personal lives and customers during my entire meal. Distracting and unprofessional. Sound carries very well in there. Overall the food was just OK. The experience and food were definitely not worth the price tag. I won't be back.

I have some dietary restrictions, and I reached out to the restaurant before even setting foot in it to figure out what they could accommodate. I was trying to determine if I could join a girls night here.
Before I even arrived, I received stellar service from the owner, who has a wealth of experience with allergies, intolerances and the like. She sent me an email explaining the risk of cross contamination even with cleaning procedures (because it's an open air kitchen) and told me which dishes could be altered for me to enjoy. She also told me she would be sure to keep a few desserts that meet my needs available since it was a celebration dinner. The restaurant was clearly busy when we arrived, as most good establishments often are, and a member of the staff still took a few minutes to check on ingredients of a dessert that I was unsure about.
I really felt safe eating in an establishment that took this much care of their customers before their customers even spent any money. The food was fantastic, the portions acceptable for the price, and I absolutely would return.

We didn't like any of the food that we ordered alas we have traveled the world and have a better understanding of what good food is. Unfortunately it wasn't even average. Service was mediocre, nobody asked us how we like the food. Disappointed. ?

Great vegetarian and vegan options with an upscale but laid back atmosphere.
