Was nervous going here because of last review and there was no one there. They don't have a huge menu but oh man was thr food good. We had great service but was also the only one there.

Ordered the loaded fries they were great, ordered the ribeye, wasn't well seasoned and tasted bland but the cook did bring out seasoning after we said something about it. The waiter came to our table once and the rest of the time the person I was with had to get up and find the wait staff when we needed something. The place was very clean however.

Not open. Drove over an hour. Says open they are not.
One young man is trying to run an entire restaurant. Got to give him props for trying. But damn, even the water smelled bad. How do you screw up water. After 30 minutes people just started walking out and leaving. Never going back.
We stayed at the Holiday Inn for one night for an event in Marshfield. Since there was no continental breakfast with our hotel stay, we decided to order takeout from The Rivers and eat in our room.
I looked up the menu online, before I called.
When I started to place my order, I was told that the menu has changed and what I wanted to order is no longer available. I let the person know that this menu is on their own website, so maybe someone should make an update. I was told it was up to the upper management to do.
I proceeded to order, looking at different things on the old menu and was told that pretty much everything I wanted was no longer available.
I asked the person on phone what they do offer and ended up ordering ham, cheese & mushroom omelet with hashbrowns, and steak & egg breakfast plus coffee, with cream and sugar.
I asked how long will it take and the person said that they don't know because there is a new cook... I was ready to cancel my order and I regret not doing so. We agreed that the restaurant will call me once the food is ready.
It took 30 minutes on Sunday morning to get the food ready. My husband walked downstairs to pick it up. To my surprise, he came back with just one box. There was no omelet. They forgot half of our order! The coffee was black - no cream or sugar.
The steak & egg breakfast was beyond grease. They asked me how I wanted my steak done (I requested medium), but the meat was so thin, that it was cooked to "well done". There was only one yolk, so I assume one egg. The menu states 2 eggs with this dish.
Why am I taking the time to write all of this? Because you can't make it up.
Do yourself a favor and don't order takeout from The Rivers. The dine-in experience may be different, but for takeout this was my worst experience ever. Thankfully, we were not charged for the missing omelet, which makes me wonder if the person who took my order over the phone has ever done it before. Looks like half of the order was lost. Or maybe someone else got it?

I went in this morning for breakfast, two employees got from a table without saying a word to me and walked off into the other room, I sat there for a sec no one said anything to me so I left
Loved the breakfast!! Pancakes tasted amazing, the bacon was just right, the coffee was tasty too! Karen was just the best and made the morning a wonderful experience!!

The place has a nice atmosphere, we were greeted and seated promptly. They had one host and one waiter. Placed our order. Got drinks and the waited. We had one miss order which we sent back, the fried fish was hot , everything thing else was cold, potatoes, baked fish was very cold, we were shorted bread and coleslaw, which was listed on menu. Service was horrible, Server never came back, we had to chase him down for the bill,

Wednesday night was slow. But glad we went. It was a nice time and very comfortable with less people there.

Went for a ladies event where we had rented the small room. Our server Brian was attentive and accommodating. I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich with fries. It was very tasty!
