This is a local place for us. I've attempted to eat here about three times with my kids for breakfast or lunch in the past year. Once I waited over an hour for my food. Another time they dropped off all but one my children's order and we waited 45 minutes before cashing out. My daughter had a soccer game yesterday and we had a party of 5. I arrived with over an hour of spare time and the restaurant was not overly busy as we were seated immediately. We then waited 20 minutes for someone to bring us our drinks. Finally, after having been seated for nearly 30 minutes and just as we were about to order, our server says "just so you know, food takes 45 minutes right now. I see you have girls in soccer uniforms so I just wanted to let you know. " I said, "that might have been helpful 30 minutes ago when you could have told us that wait times would be over an hour fifteen." We had to leave immediately in order to find a place in time to feed the girls before their game.Dennys in Mauston is ridiculous! Never again!

The service was great. The food was not good. The chicken fried steak was bland and so was the gravy. The chicken bacon ranch sandwich was odd. The bread was too sweet for that combo.

I was there with my son. Server was extremely friendly and a great waitress. I thought foe a while she was the only one there. But I guess another girl was on her break. Wasn't too many customers in there. But didn't want for anything. Coffee was always full too. That's always a good thing.
