I am so impressed with these folks. I’m currently stationed in North Africa and just got my second order. The meats are amazing but what I love is the personal touches. Fantastic independent business. My first and only go to when visiting Wisconsin to order meats. Their prices are unbeatable and customer service is second to none. I ordered 56 8oz filet mignons and I couldn't believe the amount of money I saved working with them over the big name stores. Visit them if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed.

Picked up some nice Beef Suet for a recipe and it's so clean and fresh, grabbed a pound of their smoked Bacon and it's the best ! It's like I can't eat it fast enough (: Also bought a fine looking chunk of Ham, about 5-6 lbs, can't wait !

Always a pleasure doing business with Wisconsin River Meats. This is the most convenient place for bulk meat purchases that I have found. Well worth the long-ish drive a couple of times a year. Quality and consistency have always been excellent, and whenever there are minor issues the staff have always been helpful and courteous resolving them. Hope they stay in business for a long time.
Yesterday, was my first time visiting this Meat Market. I had previously hired them to cater an event a few years ago. I was so impressed with the taste & leanness of the brats, that I declared them better than my Johnsonville favorites. I was excited to finally have a chance to visit in- person and fill my freezer. I was wowed by the size of the place, and how clean and organized it was. I was surprised to find the prices significantly less than on their website (about 38% less). It definitely pays to shop in person! Plus, they offer much more too. They had fresh meat, frozen meat, precooked meat, cheeses, spices/rubs/marinades. This is what a Meat Market is suppose to be! There were a couple unimpressive points though too. The precooked corned beef I was so eager for, didn't have a packaging or use by date. That's a deal breaker for me. Everything should be dated. Other packages of precooked beef had thick white fat. I can appreciate marbling & naturally fatty meat, but am not willing to pay for top dollar for untrimmed/excess fat. I bought the precooked brats and after preparing them multiple ways, I don't like them. I couldn't get past the heavy garlic powder scent/taste, and they weren't as lean as I remembered. That might be the difference between precooked & fresh/raw brats. I also bought a Cheddar Summer Sausage and a Cranberry Summer Sausage. The cranberries were much sweeter than I anticipated. The Cheddar was very good. My recommendation is to go in-person, and buy one pound packages to sample before going all-in on an assumption.
