My overall impression of 1855 was good. I however was made to feel uncomfortable by certain staff.
I ordered a drip coffee and since they don’t serve it to you, you and fill up from a dispenser. The coffee that I pulled was at the end. They replaced the empty with a new pot and I finished filling my cup.
When I sat back down I took a sip and the coffee was warm to lukewarm. I went to the front and asked if they had a microwave so that I could heat it and they said they did not. The staff member making drinks was wonderful and offered me a new cup.
The staff member I originally spoke with took my cup and smirked, walked back to one of her coworkers and had them touch the cup. They both turned around and smiled like “why is this guy complaining, the cup is hot”.
I find it offensive that they would do such a thing to a paying customer. I know there are a number of snowflakes out there that would say I’m being ridiculous but when you’re paying four dollars for a cup of coffee, you should have it any which way you like.
Management, please remind staff that a Customer should be treated with respect, especially when the customer treats the staff with respect.

This is a charming cafe tucked away in the downtown area. Sandwiches are made to order using the freshest local ingredients that are both familiar and forget at the same time. His coffee selection... But didn't overlook the trees selection as well. You can sit inside out have your for packed for a picnic in one of the local parks.

Fantastic coffee! Fun location - used to be an old bank. The vault is still there and used to showcase local merch for sale. The sandwiches have been great every time I have gotten them?

Michelle and staff are kind and attentive and the atmosphere is so welcoming. Whether you’re stopping in for a to go order or to stay and visit with friends and family or work for a few hours, this is the place to be! :)

100% my favorite place to stop in town! Always welcoming staff, new variations of unique flavors to try all the time. Just tried the 'Trail Mix' flavor they have this week in an iced latte; TO DIE FOR! Spinach Feta baked goods are amazing, my personal favorite, but they also offer fruity or chocolatey options as well! Great cozy atmosphere, reused the old banks vault for public use, and they work locally with businesses!

We originally placed our order over the phone for pickup, but when we arrived the order had not been entered or made. We then ordered in person. After waiting for over 20 minutes we asked and were told our order had been missed again and they would need to start it now. The staff is friendly, but I do NOT recommend this shop unless you are prepared to be very patient. Expect mistakes.
