We have a cabin and seasonal cottage on Lake Esadore. We've been to High View about half a dozen times this year. The food and drinks are always perfect. The Friday fish fry rivals any I have ever had. The hash browns are the best. The owners and staff are always friendly. This place is an asset to the area.

What a wonderful surprise to find this restaurant. The food was wonderful but the hospitality was unexpected and made you feel at home. If you are near, go out of your way to stop in you won't regret it and get the ice drinks!

We came on Saturday for dinner. The restaurant was super cool looking and very comfortable. Our food was delicious! The broccoli bites and the cheeseburger were my favorite! My fiancé had the ribs with hash browns and loved them.

Staff is genuinely friendly creating a welcoming atmosphere. I had the Prime Rib, & it was delicious, and salad dressings are house made, which is a big plus for me.

Great spot. Pan fried walleye was fantastic. Hot spinach salad was nice.
Clam chowder was decent and wish there was a nice wedge salad on the menu and muddled old fashioneds.

Outstanding, you can cut the prime rib with a fork ,no knife needed, has to be the beef the purchase, Also Outstanding flavor, highly recommended.

Ribs are really good! Walleye Florentine is delicious! Drinks are wonderful and picture perfect. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. We will be back soon.

We had high hopes but The High View Inn was definitely a Low View for us. The atmosphere was pretty good, the water front view was pretty, food was good. However we got some alcoholic drinks and they did not taste like they had any alcohol in them at all. We also had after dinner drinks just to see if they were any better. Absolutely not. The biggest let down by far was our waitress, hopefully it was just an off day for her but her attitude was horrible. Very short with all of us, didn't listen well when we asked a question, it seemed like we were an irritation to her not paying customers. We drove an hour and 40 min to go for my mother in laws Birthday since we loved Palms ( in BRF) that burnt down since others told us the chicken was the same. Indeed it was and she was very happy. But our waitress didn't even ask if we had been in before, what brought us out today nothing.

My friends and I stay in Medford for a weekend once every year and we always go to the High View for the prime rib and some cocktails on a Friday or Saturday. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is exactly what you want in a supper club, and the food and drinks are spot on! We usually make a reservation the day of or the day before without any problem.

Very pleasant and friendly staff. Staff checked our table regularly to see if we needed anything. The atmosphere is very inviting. My family and I did not have a problem being able to talk to one another. We have been here multiple times because the food is delicious. They have great fish specials on friday.
