Went out to eat here for the first time yesterday. It was so delicious!! I ordered the BBQ Pork Mac. Our waiter was so quick, friendly, knowledgeable about everything on the menu. He was busy and as I was watching him bustle about, he still made it a point to stop and refill all glasses, joke with each table, and was ontop of everything! Great Job!

I just had lunch at Marilyn's with two friends. First, our waitress was amazing - best I've experienced in a long time! We ordered the Maple Bacon appetizer & it was more than DELICIOUS! I also had the American Burger & Sidewinder Fries & they both were very good! Luis is the best chef ever! Marilyn's has food like no other place!

My wife and I rarely go out to eat, mostly because there isn't anywhere locally that is really very good. We always have to travel to Wausau or Eau Claire for a 'good' place to eat. Last Friday we decided to go check out Marilyn's in Medford. I expected the typical 'bar' atmosphere that is so prevalent to this area. I was pleasantly surprised when we turned the corner and saw the welcoming open appearance. It reminded me of 'The Garage' in Wausau from the outside. However, the atmosphere inside was much more welcoming. The staff greeted us immediately and seated us right away. It was a Friday night, and it was extremely busy. Wait staff was really hustling between the kitchen and their guests. We waited only a few minutes before we were greeted and asked if we were thirsty! LOL.. of course! He suggested several cocktails based on what we told him we were looking for. He told us the specials then left to get our drinks. He went through the menu with us and answered any questions we had. Dinner arrived and was absolutely delicious!!! This is definitely going to be a regular place for us now!!! Thank you for a wonderful evening!!

Atmosphere there it is an old fire station modernized, I ordered the haddock fish sandwich and it was pretty much tasteless, the sidewinder fries were good, group of 7, others food came cold and they did remake, appetizer were cold, dishes are homemade, would probably try again, just to see if they were having a bad day!
Everything we had was outstanding! The pork belly tacos had the perfect balance of salt, fat, heat and acid. LOVED. Everyone else raved about their food too. Waitress was really friendly!

Nice atmosphere, great staff and amazing food. I highly recommend the "Fire and Tire" burger. I also love the fact that they try to locally source many of their ingredients. Can't wait to go back and try more things off the menu. Definitely one of my local favorites!
