Erbert and Gerbert’s has been our go to sub shop in town. Recently, however, 5 of the 6 times we’ve visited the establishment, they have been out of essential menu items. Once it was soup. On another visit we were told that they were out of cheese. A subsequent visit required us to visit an alternative restaurant, as they didn’t have the deli meat needed for their Flash sandwich. Today, at 12:30 pm, we were told that they were out of bread, and it would be at least an hour until we could order a sandwich. A sub shop out of bread in the middle of the lunch hour?! Seriously? I sincerely hope that management is made aware of these issues, as I’m concerned it could impact the viability of their business. The next time our family wants subs, I’m tempted to go elsewhere simply to save the time and frustration.

I gave a low rating for service because there was only one person working the orders in-store, drive-thru, and making the food. It was about 20 minutes for 2 sandwiches.

Usually have had good luck at this location. Went here an hour before closing. Told us up front that they were out of Italian bread and bacon, which was somewhat understandable but a little weird. They made my husband's sandwich correct (minus the missing bacon and stingy on the ranch). My quatro was completely missing cranberries.

My boyfriend and I love this place, but the last 3 times we’ve gone our subs have been messed up. Just this recent visit our subs had barely any toppings, we asked for extra mayo and onions on one sub and got no extra, my sub had barely any bbq sauce, no extra cheddar like I asked and the sub wasn’t cut, if we pay extra for these items then we’d like to have them on our subs. Love this place but they’ve been disappointing recently

Great quality sandwiches- far and away the best in town. Great service and friendly staff. Recommend the Mamoth sandwich if still available at time of reading.

First time giving this establishment a go and while expected (we asked around before trying them and were told that they weren’t very good) we were sadly disappointed. I had a Philly cheese and my hubs had the brisket Mac n cheese. The meat for my sandwich was absolutely flavorless (tasted more like boiled tuna, the bacon wasn’t pleasant and made the other meat even worse) and severely wet causing the bread to be so soggy it basically fell apart into mush. If you’re one that loves Philly cheese and that’s your go to, do not order one from here you’ll be very disappointed. My husbands sub, held up better and wasn’t horrible, he was able to eat it completely minus giving me a couple bites but we both agreed it still wasn’t worth the price paid. The cost of these subs are more than Subway and most other places you can get similar food from but the quality and taste are definitely lacking compared to all other establishments in its category. Highly recommend going elsewhere especially if you’re on a budget and can’t afford to risk purchasing gross food that ultimately goes in the trash rather than your belly. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but this sub was THAT BAD!
