This was my first time here and I loved it. The staff was really friendly, and I loved the decor. The food was really good too. This place has a really nice at home feel to it. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you.

This used to be our go to place. We were there a few weeks ago, sat at a table, waitress came and gave us our water, and never came back to take our order. We looked for her and waited another 15 minutes and finally left. The menu also seemed to have changed quite a bit.

Food for the most part was good. I got a side of avocado with my breakfast bowl and it was so hard I had to cut it with a knife. We got a few baked goods and most were old and dried out. I could have used the scones as hammers.

I don't give 5 stars unless deserved, and this small café was by far 10/10. I got a dill pickle grill cheese and cabbage soup and man, if you haven't tried then your missing out, especially my fellow pickle people!! Take time and go here! you won't be disappointed!

We stopped for breakfast this morning. It was our first time there. First, the decor is really neat. There was an old book rail. They did a great job keeping the history.
The food was phenomenal. I had the strawberry cream cheese stuffed french toast. Coffee was really great. Not like other restaurants. Best breakfast I have had in a long time!
The servers were really busy but you were able to get their attention if you needed something.
If you don’t stop here, you are truly missing out! An absolute gem of a place!!!

I’ve gone to this Cafe a few times in the past and absolutely loved their coffee and cinnamon rolls. We went today and the vanilla latte’s were terrible and the cinnamon rolls tasted like regular bread with amazing flavored frosting on top. I couldn’t get the taste of burnt coffee out of my mouth and the cinnamon roll had barely any cinnamon in it at all. It is not their normal so I’m not sure what happened.
Stopped in for my first time today to grab some food. I had called placed my order to go as I’m not feeling very well but was wanting some soup to help. They had 2 options available so figured I’d try both. The tomato basil was AMAZING! I think it’s probably a new favorite kind of soup period! I also ordered their mushroom omelette they had available which was outstanding! The bread though! I will be stopping by before the weekend to pick up 2 loaves of the potato chive bread! It was PHENOMENAL! It also paired nicely with the tomato basil soup! Food was ready in less than 10 minutes! Thank you for the amazing meal today! Will be coming back soon!

Stopped to order off the fall drink menu on our way out of Menomonie. Had a hard time choosing but ended up with an iced Crème Brule (caramel, Irish cream, brown sugar) and it was f a b u l o u s. Best coffee we’ve had in a long time. The place was busy, but service was fast and friendly. We’d like to come back to try the food which looked fabulous.

The food is all made fresh and it’s very delicious. Service was friendly and fast. I love the historical aspect of this wonderful cafe. We biked there from Menomonie on Cedar River trail. We hungry and departed filled and happy. I will definitely eat here again.
