Always a top-notch experience here! I won’t go anywhere else for sushi—the ingredients are always fresh, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is great. Prices are very reasonable, and I always leave full and happy. I never feel icky after eating here. Always a recommended place to family and friends that want a good sushi restaurant.

Super happy we found Yamato after moving to Menomonie. Although they don't have AYCE and their pop has been flat both times we went, the food has been phenomenal and the service wonderful. We like the BMW roll and pair it with the lunch or dinner hibachi meals.

Great food with impeccable service! There were not a lot of other tables when I visited, but the service was top-notch! Empty plates were taken pretty much immediately, and dishes were timed perfectly, so the next dish was being brought out as I finished the one in front of me. Everything I ate was an absolute delight! Highly recommend the gyoza(they looked and tasted so good I forgot to get a picture) and grilled ginger squid appetizers. The sakura roll was tantalizing on the eyes and a party for the taste buds. I also ordered the seafood teriyaki plate and devoured every bit off of it. It's a little more expensive than fast food, but average pricing for a nice sit-down dinner now adays. 10/10 highly recommend

My wife and I love coming here. The owners are very nice people and their service is great. The miso soup and sushi is great! It’s a perfect dinner or date night.

Great place for lunch. I have been there around 10 times and every time was great. I have never been there for dinner. I have ordered the bento box with all the different meats except salmon. I have also ordered the steak hibachi meal. Either are a good choice. I will definitely continue to go to this restaurant. I will add photos when I remember to take them. I usually start eating right away and forget!
