Disappointed. Our fourth visit to Renard's which, unfortunately, was a let down. The dining room was full impacting our service although is was a Friday night. The artichoke appetizer was very good. However, the mushroom ravioli had an unusual taste to it and the lamb was over done and grisly. The pizza was tasty! We won't order the same food next time but may delay our return.

My husband and I love coming here. It’s one of the best places in Mequon to relax and enjoy great food and drinks. We are here often! :)

Excellent from start to finish. Super attentive service. Ordered the foccacia for a starter. Freshly baked and served with olive oil and garlic confit. Mushroom ravioli was divine and the shrimp served on the side for me was jumbo amd perfectly grilled. Caesar salad was one of the best I have ever had. Let's hope this quality remains. We will be back. Also, very fairly priced and decent portions.

my husband and I struggled to find anything in the area to go have a great meal and great relaxing atmosphere. The food here is well thought out , well balanced, and excellent quality. The Chef really knows what he's doing and you can tell he has pure passion for food. We have traveled all over the world and we are from a big city and some of the dishes are the best we've ever eaten. Fresh ingredienrs always . Keep doing what you're doing. Please do not close and please maybe open on Sundays !!! This is a five star restaurant.

Excellent food, service was great as well. It is rather loud in the restaurant, so not a great spot if you are looking for a quiet dinner.

Creative and delicious menu. So happy to have another quality restaurant in Ozaukee county. Now there's two, Brandywine & Renard's.

What a Gem, we really needed this place, great food thoughtfully put together, interesting pairings, creative ingredients and they knocked it out the park!!!!! Favourite restaurant…..

Renard's has a small menu, which means that they have the time and resources to make each dish truly excellent. The goat cheese appetizer was both light and complex in flavor. The lamb entree truly tasted like springtime in the best way, green and fresh but well-grounded by the lamb au jus and fingerling potatoes.

The acoustics in the restaurant were loud for my taste, but not outright unpleasant.

Amazing service and fantastic food. We ordered a beet salad and pizza and both were incredible. The executive chef introduced himself and came to our table to check on us and made us feel welcome. If you’re looking for a great dinner experience, check out Renards

Everyone leaves with a to go box. We left with six because portions were just too big on everything. It was embarrassing for us honestly! Arancini didn’t have enough flavor or enough Nona’s sauce. The food was OK overall, but the experience was confusing. I think one waitress was waiting on all the tables in the restaurant on a Saturday night, which was too much for one person. Not all the tables were full, but because she was managing so much it felt like the service suffered. Can’t believe I’m saying this but they should be reviewing the menu for portion sizes and reducing where it makes sense. It would reduce all the time the wait staff is spending boxing food and increase profits…

Dined in for the third time last night - everything was excellent. Seasonal, fresh, creative, and delicious. The whipped goat cheese and asparagus apps blew us away, but don’t sleep on the pizzas here…best in the area for sure. Just love how they make everything from scratch and clearly care about how they source ingredients. Very skilled chefs in the kitchen. Can’t wait to go back!

Be sure to make reservations to eat at the bar. Prepare to be immersed alongside the culinary masterminds in the bistro. Renard's has the Best French fries 🍟 in the State of Wisconsin, no one can compete with these fries. With stone fired pizzas, fresh ingredients and local cuisine, everything is meticulously prepared at Renard's!

Wow! Wonderful food, great ambience, amazing service and overall A+ dinner I won't soon forget. Great salad to start and the swordfish was out of this world. Phenomenal, very personable and welcoming service from Stefanie. Can't wait to come back again soon!

We were super excited to find such a well reviewed new restaurant in our neighborhood. Our hopes were high, and I am pleased to say were met with flying colors. As two foodie vegetarians, the meat-free items well truly thought out, carefully curated, and in tune with the season. We hope they continue to think about their plant-based customers in future menus. The Mushroom Ravioli and Whipped Ricotta were absolute stand-outs. Service was pleasant and the atmosphere was warm and cozy. We cannot wait to come back! Thank you for livening up the restaurant scene around here :)
