While dining at Chancery in Mequon, I found the steak on my salad to be disappointingly tough and difficult to chew. Additionally, the portion size was larger than expected, making it awkward to eat without cutting it down. It would have been preferable if the steak had been placed on my friend's sandwich instead, as my dining experience was negatively impacted by the toughness of the meat." Henceforth I like deep throating meat but i shouldn't have to pay to do so

Only 5 tables with dinners and 8 dirty tables .No wait staff around , but 4 or 5 staff fooling around on their phones. Laughing and talking while people looked around for staff to wait on them. This was 3:00 PM on sunday . No way to run a restaurant.

We had an awful experience several weeks ago. The food was awful. Potatoes were cold and stale. Wings tasted like smoked fish. Service was awful even though they weren't busy. When we let our server know the food wasn't edible she said she'd let her manager know. Manager never came to talk to us but they did comp 2 of our 3 dishes. Afterwards I sent feedback to the restaurant to let them know (hoping they can take the feedback to improve) but almost 2 weeks later I still havent received a response. So they clearly don't care about their customers. Two times a manager had an opportunity to address concerns but chose not to. Very disappointing especially from a restaurant I used to enjoy.

They really have the casual, calm but interesting thing about the place. Love the cabin bar. Like the decor and low lighting. Perfect place after a hard day working. At contrasts the other restaurants in the area that make you feel less comfortable. Wondering how much they spent in the cabin bar. It quite a great replica

The food was awesome and the customer service was amazing as well. This is a top spot for their fried chicken dinners. Even tho it's not all you can eat. A half of chicken with sides is very well priced.
I've been waitressing five years and I'm all for automatic gratuity on larger tables in order to make sure the server is taken care of. HOWEVER.. the service has to be worth that amount- server seemed inattentive when there was 1 other table in the restaurant at the time. Waited forever for the checks which were not split correctly, and I had to leave 90 percent of my meal behind because no one asked if we needed to go boxes on the way out- no waters were refilled the entire night... idk what's going on if it's automatic 20 percent gratuity then give service, man, coming from someone who is a waitress ?
